It's the right call and I'm sure Azimuth was ok with it. I've taken down posts when someone asked me to and there was a good reason to do so. I think this falls into that category.

Sent Dan Stevens a PM and he got me in touch with Matt Hering that same day. I got all the paperwork to him in one day and now i'm just waiting to close. I bought my current home June 2014 at 4.375%, refinanced at 3.25% with zero out of pocket costs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys, they have been great.

If I get picked to attend the SNCOA in residence I will also have to complete the corrspondence piece as well(newer version). So in all I may have to complete the same PME level 3 times! UFB

I was supposed to fly on Friday but alas, MX couldn't produce a jet. I know they have manning issues, especially 7-Levels, I just hope these problems make it up to AMC.

Over in the sequestration thread, Sec Hagel is quoted as saying "We will also no longer reimburse for renter’s insurance." I've never heard of this reimbursement and can't find anything about it via Google. USAA sells the stuff, but I can't even find anything on their site about getting reimbursed for it. Anyone have any info about this?
It's actually already included in the BAH rate. It's not a seperate reimbursement.

Any other TERA denials? Approvals?
Major in my sq got denied TERA because he was in an AEF bucket, BS he's an Enabler, and the other stated reason was ADSC for a Safety School that was canceled months ago. He is fighting big blue right now, I will update if I hear anything.

Sorry for the thread revival but I got "Chiefed" by a young female 2Lt about 3 hrs ago. My back was turned and I heard "Airman.......Airman" and I didn't bother looking since it's been about 12 yrs since having that directed at me. When I did turn she then corrected me on the wear of my Flight Cap. She seems to read the reg that it has to be straight all the way down, when in all reality it says straight with the nose. And then she stood there waiting for a salute, so I move the all the things I was carrying to one hand and render a salute. This sort of thing hasn't happened to me in years, it just took me by surprise. Might be time to go. Too bad TERA wasn't offered to MSgt booms.

Pay is not the problem. Why does the AF think that they can solve all problems by throwing more money at them??? It might make the numbers on some metric look better, but it just keeps the wrong people in the AF. Hence the majority of the problems we suffer from today.

On another note, when I was still in MX and had to babysit a static display KC-135 on wing open house day it really bothered me when cops or CE dudes from our wing had to ask me what kind of plane it was. You're in an Air Refueling Wing-chances are it's a tanker.
I actually don't mind it when this happens. I take that opportunity to fill them in on all the amazing things we do with that aircraft and how vital it's role is. For whatever reason some folks have blinders on and only see their piece of the puzzle. Take time to inspire and motivate. BTW, I am on a roll because i'm taking shots of Nyquil like it was my 21st birthday.

That was a painful read. It does sound like someones feelings were hurt, but it also sounds like this was another out of touch GO. For him to say he didn't know rules concerning leave, that it was his execs duty to bring it to his attention, is retarded.

They scared the shit out of everyone in the Boom Operator career field before Christmas, new numbers out only have 2 SSgt's AF wide that need to be cut in our AFSC. I just shook my head. I'm glad but I'm also left wondering WTF?!?!

I just want to see old DJT testify for 11 hours like HRC did. Slightly off topic I know, but I have a Costco sized box of popcorn in my pantry that I desperately need to get rid of, and 11 hours of Trump testifying could very well do that. Just sayin'
