  1. If that deadline is correct, looks like I'm going to miss it as well. My AFRC recruiter hasn't even scheduled me a meps physical yet.
  2. Thought the same thing. You guys on the 350z/g35partsforsale/trade Facebook page?
  3. Yea, AD AF, AFRC and Navy all require commissioning physicals before as part of the application package. I think this is a fairly new way of doing it, at least for AD Air Force and AFRC.
  4. CIvilian. I know for sure you can do ANG and AFRC because only AFRC goes trough MEPS. His rationale was, MEPs physicals can only be attached to one recruiter at a time, and since AFRC and Active duty both use MEPS physicals, it becomes a problem. To make thing a little more messy, I contacted a Navy recruiter today which also is believe to have a projected board in November, in case anyone was interested.
  5. So I am in contact with an AFRC recruiter for their November unsponsored but also reached out to and active duty recruiter for their November board. This recruiter noted that I cannot apply to both and that I need to pick one or the other. Can anyone confirm this?
  6. I'm kind of in the same boat as well with my AFRC recruiter not being the most responsive. I gave him all my documents/scores but I still need to take/schedule my MEPS physical /FC1 for the Unsponsored Boards. I was trying to see when the deadline was but couldn't find anything. At least you have access to your recruiter. Mine is on a base, so I can't just stop by unless I am sponsored.
  7. What unsponsored board did you get picked up from? The next board is in November of this year.
  8. Try not to double post, it is a pretty small forum and what the other poster said was for sure the best advice, first slot you get offered, jump on it. As far as UPT boards, you have to check each site and see when their next board is. If you are really persistent, you can email them as well to see when their next future board will be. Being that you are 28, I would print out the entire ANG list and make sure you check and/or contact each one. Not sure army age limit for their pilot training, but 28 is usually as old as you get for wings to consider you.
  9. Im from the area, if you have any questions, let me know.
  10. No, I mean get to UPT as in getting a slot.
  11. Thanks for the input. I have taken the test twice and studied very hard for it, my first pilot score was in the 50s. I have used pretty much every book produced. My original post was not regarding my AFOQT scores, it was making the best decision for what I got. I am commited to go to UPT and don't care how I get there.
  12. Just talked to a recruiter, he said he sent someone to UPT with 75 Pilot and 66 PCSM.
  13. Read this. Every branch is different. If your H2 you can try Guard and get waiver. Theres a thread with several selects who talk about getting waivers, Its not letting me copy and paste but just Google "Hearing information (H1,H2,H3, testing, waivers)"
  14. I have sent about 7 packages to ANG FW UPT boards. I have not sent any packages to AFRC because you need to work with a recruiter but I am currently in contact with one. Talked to OTS recruiter and he pretty much was only interested in seeing when I would be retaking AFOQT. I can't seem to get a hold him anymore, but I will keep trying.
  15. At a critical age, 25 and want to go balls to the wall but also be strategic as well with getting a slot. I am wondering if I should enlist in a guard unit or try my chances with AFRC which I heard the odds are really good getting a slot. I think OTS is out of the question with these scores. Afoqt scores, taken twice but got the okay for a 3rd attempt after 150days (Form T waiver) Pilot :83 Nav: 36 Acad: 34 Verb:47 Quant :26 B.A. 3.59 GPA PCSM is 75 with 72 flight hours, but will max to 87 at 201 flight hours.
  16. So to track fighters, do you just track regularly based on standing and then hope to get sponsored by fighter wing afterwards?
  17. Im confused, so can you now just apply to AFRC Command directly like Guard apps or do you have to go through a recruiter like OTS?
