  1. If you're someone who becomes conflicted about who you are and believe you need to change your body, I support whatever makes you happy. The chances of you outlasting my family and friends are slim.

There are states that you can’t get a tattoo under the age of 18, even with parental consent. As a serious nation, if we allowing children to determine whether they’re a boy or a girls, we have failed our youth.

My oldest boy loved Black Panther, wore costume everyday. I didn’t say “well time to move to Wakanda” he knows who he is. The hard part of being a parent is saying no and protecting them. Not allowing children to proceed down a path with life altering outcomes.

  2. Why does the USAFA even exist anymore? It’s an expensive way to make an officer and I can’t see any notable difference in quality between the rotc/ots/academy grads.

How else are you going to create socially awkward officers, with an overwhelming sense of superiority, who wear huge rings and tell Academy stories for the first 10 years of their careers

  3. Not because it didn't do anything at all.

I didn’t mean to imply it didn’t do anything at all. But it was rushed to market to make Big Pharma record breaking profits. When you own the government organization who’s supposed to provide oversight, your money based incentive mindset drives your actions. If you trust Pfizer, I’d watch Dopesick, or read the book. They care about one thing, money. The end users are unimportant, when they know they have immunity from vaccine injuries.

  4. The vaccine for COVID-19 does not stop transmission. This is not disputed at any level. It reduces it somewhat, but only if you are susceptible to infection in the first place, which teenagers and young adults are not.

The concept of herd immunity never involved low-risk demographics increasing their exposure to negative outcomes to protect high-risk demographics. That's an insane proposition.

Its mind boggling after three years of having COVID in our life’s, that there are still people clinging to the vaccine as being beneficial. It was rushed to market by Big Pharma to make them BILLIONS. It wasn’t about saving anyone

  5. Most people I work with expect me to be on the O-6 list this summer. However, I think I am done, enrolled in TAP, planning retirement. Assuming I get selected, would I be an idiot for walking away and retiring at 20?

Your statement “I think I’m done” is telling. If you do make 0-6, life, work and expectations only going to get larger. You’ve punched the golden 20 year ticket, get out and enjoy the next phase of your life.

  6. Having served my country faithfully and retired, it’s comical watching the pendulum swing back and forth between the AAD. I did my due diligence and checked the box because they were unmasked during my IPZ. This “new” policy will again change in 3-5 years, then change again after that. Do I think the degree is important, not really. But all that matters is what the current regime thinks. If there’s 4 people in the same grey zone, it will be a discriminator. I hate it, however, it is what it is, regardless of what the policy states.

  7. Trump’s political window has ended. The 2016 campaign was unique, because Hilary was despised by many more than him. Since his first term, and the years since then, the voters he needs (youth and suburban moms) will not vote for Trump. It benefits no one, besides his ego, to keep him in the conversation. His schtick has gotten old and tired.

  8. Hypothetical situation: someone is selected for O-5, but set to retire 1 May.  Pin-on date works out as 1 Apr but they started terminal 1 Mar.  Do they retire as an O-5? Not talking pay (high-3), talking rank only.

In accordance with 10 US Code 1370, 2(A), you have to serve three years to “retire” as an O-5. SecDef can waive to 2 years. Now what gets read on the retirement script…that’s just a Word document

  9. The problem is that the time scale to build a nuclear plant is more or less twenty years at this point.

The Watts Barr nuclear plant in Tennessee is most recent construction in US. Began in 1973, has two reactors, Unit 1, completed in 1996, and Unit 2, completed in 2015.; 23 and 43 years respectively.

Nuclear is a great option, but not a quick one.

  10. I’m confused, why is being a Paul Harvey fan a bad thing? Is that a new “White Nationalist” dogwhistle…
It’s interesting watching the path Adam has traveled. His anti-Trump stance earned him a redistricted seat from the D’s, but I’m sure he’ll be the resident MSNBC conservative tallking head. Hopefully he’s current and qualified to go participate in his no-fly zone.

  11. This Big Pharma argument is so disingenuous. If you refuse to trust pharmaceutical companies, the CDC, and the FDA, fine. I have no problem with that. Just be intellectually honest and stop shopping at the grocery store.

That’s quite the conundrum you present. You either blindly trust that Big Pharma has 100% public interest as their motive, or divorce yourself completely from their products. I don’t know if you’ve read or watched, but the Hulu series Dopesick (and book of same name), illustrated how corrupt the FDA and Pharma can be. But that fact that within one year, the “vaccine” has made them record breaking profits, and the messaging now is three shots + booster. I’m not the smartest man in the world, but something doesn’t pass the smell test.

  12. Again, happy to check out literally any amplifying data on these supposed 800,000 neurological problems.  Until then I'll probably default to the stats VAERS, the CDC, and the worldwide medical community are reporting.

I’m not arguing any of those issues. I’m pointing out that we have mNRA “vaccines” that are not even a year into usage, and has morphed from a two shot series, into three, or four required. All the while, the Pharma companies, have legal immunity over injuries related to the administration or use of their products to treat or protect against Covid, until 2024. We have ZERO data on the long term affects of these treatments. You might trust Pfizer and Moderna, I don’t.
