  1. What moving to the Pass/Fail system did was to remove the ability of leadership to see the test scores of individual crew dogs. All that shows up now is "Pass" or "Fail" instead of a percentage. That keeps them from hounding folks about missing one or two questions here or there.
  2. How many of each gender were up for promotion? I suspect that the number of females eligible was significantly lower so those percentages aren't really that telling. Also the difference is only 6% and 4% for the respective boards which isn't all that compelling either.
  3. Fixed that for ya... the fact the he is a pilot is irrelevant here. She never challenged him on flying skills. However, the advice is spot on!

  5. For those that have gone through the actual training already, would a pc sim have any value as far as practicing procedures and running checklists go? I would think that it would have an advantage over sitting in front of a poster when chair flying.
  6. Guess I outta put down the Stella... Anyone like Pilsner Urquell? I wasn't much of a fan but a good friend of mine swore by it and Grolsch. Oh and Terrapin sucks! I don't think anyone listed it but damn they have some nasty brews.

  8. I've completed the obligatory 0.69s search through the forum and could not find any threads related to stories of how you all got your call signs. If I simply didn't read the memo regarding the restriction on asking this question, I'll go back to filing my TPS reports. I don't have a call sign yet as I am a casual APT and have not yet been to the show, but some in the squadron have taken to calling me E Lo because I share a last name with that terrible actress/singer with a big @$$. How about the rest of you?
