Discovery Channel crashes a B-727
Maybe it's the last few weeks of AFN kicking in, but this would be a hell of a spot for some "don't be that guy" ad featuring some limp dick SEFE quoting that section after a downgrade. Not to mention, you realize you just quoted an AETC sup? This.

Leather Flight Jacket
FWIW, my first pair of boots was broken in by a similar method. A good friend that I went to college with told me the Rangers in his batt broke their boots in by soaking them in water and wearing them until they dried. Different leather, tanning method and cost, but if you're starting with a piece of crap jacket and thinking about going to Mr Lim for one it might be worth a shot. Another recommendation for him by the way, I don't have one but some bros do and his work is top notch. But Hacker, dude, were all those jackets yours? Damn son.

ADP (Airman Development Plan)
Not sure about the heavy side, but at least my functional at the fighter porch (probably others as well) looks at your quals, makes sure they match up with your preferences in the comments, and matches you from there. Not too much time is given to the form tier data. Like others have said, you've got the room in the comments section to spell it out very clearly. Good luck.

Last Beer You Drank and Rate It
Dear God man. The formaldehyde has gotten to you. Although the 2 liter plastic bottles are convenient. You just have to drink it fast so it doesn't get warm. Ugh.

Brooks to Wright-Patterson Conversion
I'll be there end of next week for ACS. If I hear of anything good I'll post back. Edited to say I'll have a rental, so may be able to get to some places most wouldn't. If you're there and a vol for DD, pm me.

Fighter Assignments page
Not what you're looking for, but the Strike Eagle list has been available for ~2 weeks. You are talking about the one that says "X,Y, and Z are available this VML", right? Shouldn't the boss email you/ forward a copy when you're notified you're on the VML?

Stan Eval Shenanigans
Not a heavy dude, so the nonchalant talk of Q3's is extremely odd, but this: May explain something. Edited to add, is a ######ing foul dude. Make your point without pissing on someone's grave.

Popped ears
Yes, it is dangerous. Who knows, you willing to bet a sinus on if it does or not? Discomfort is relative, and you know best your own circumstance. But 2 days off the schedule vs 6-9 times as long for a sinus to heal up.... You do the math. Who knows, you go to the doc, do a weekend DNIF and take allegra/afrin, whatever when you feel stopped up.

Leave Questions
Yeah, don't be that guy. Something for all the new guys reading this is to get all leave cleared through the leave manager (usually an ADO type) and only then buy tickets. If you're PCS'ing in, call the ops desk. Or in this case, STUCON. Bottom line is they're going to give you leave; it's right before Christmas, and it's the Navy. They don't give a shit.

Ammo against the shoe clerks!
Exactly. Best thing to do (not really) is get your wife a job on base. 6-9 months and they'll be the "flyer's wife" that openly questions processes. Because we all know process and not the mission run the AF. LRS, I'm looking at you. With disgust.
