    Actually, I'm the Chief of Grammar Police in ######off Town. My point was that perhaps the application of proper grammar/spelling might have made your post sound a little less like some nutjob espousing his own conspiracy theory. At the very least, it would have made it slightly more coherent and readable. Carry on douchebag.

    NEW YORK (Reuters) - A New York City police officer pleaded not guilty on Monday to conspiring to kidnap, torture, cook and eat women.

    Gilberto Valle, 28, of Forest Hills, Queens, was charged and arrested in October with conspiring to cross state lines to kidnap the women and with illegally accessing a federal database.

    Prosecutors said some of the women were acquaintances of Valle but it was not clear if he knew or had met all of them. Valle, who an official said had no prior criminal record, was not charged with carrying out any of his suspected plans.

    At a brief hearing Monday in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, Valle's attorney, Julia Gatto, told the judge she would again seek to have her client freed on bail after two other judges previously denied her request.

    Investigators uncovered a file on Valle's computer containing the names and pictures of at least 100 women, and the addresses and physical descriptions of some of them, according to the criminal complaint. It said he had undertaken surveillance of some of the women at their places of employment and their homes.

    Gatto argues that Valle, a 6-1/2 year NYPD veteran, was all talk and should be released on bail.

    The charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison.

    Wow.....you cannot make this stuff up.

    Good. One of the worst books I have ever read. Author couldn't be bothered to put his good ideas in a coherent format, so he disguised it as a hip, unconventional method of story-telling that's all over the place and leaves the reader to invent the better part of the story.

    Disagree as well. Unconventional approach using personal stores was very interesting and I found the book to be very entertaining. Movie looks like it has nothing to do with the book.

    Arizona recount procedures

    An automatic recount is required when the margin between the two candidates with the greatest number of votes for a particular office is either less than 0.1% of votes cast or does not exceed 200 votes for statewide offices or 50 votes for offices in the state legislature. [1] When the canvass shows a recount is required for a statewide office or a congressional race, the Secretary of State certifies the facts requiring the recount to thesuperior court in Maricopa County. [2] The court enters an order requiring a recount in accord with state requirements regarding election vote counting. [3] Where the vote was conducted on electronic voting equipment, the recount is conducted on an automatic tabulating system furnished and programmed by the Secretary of State. § 16-664. The results are presented to the court and the court announces the results and enters an order describing its determination. [4] The state or county pays the costs of the recount.[5]

    Recount requests are not permitted. Barrera v. Superior Court, 117 Ariz. 528, 573 P.2d 928 (App. Div.2 1977).

    So given the numbers at the moment: yes.

    Strafe was in the first week of Desert Storm. 58 FS (or I suppose TFS in those days). 1st time was against trucks which they actually hit. The pilots did not report it but AWACS reported the event. The second time, in a 24 hour period, same squadron, on a Candid, on the ground. One of the Eagles was almost shot down by an SA-6. The Candid did have a wing knocked off. Next day, ATO stated "F-15 NO STRAFE." Gen Horner apparently was not happy about the whole thing. No, I was not there in that squadron but I just walked down the hall to talk to the guy who was there when it happened.

    I was busy flying from the LIK where our F-16s were told not to strafe with the gun prior to dropping bombs. F-16 drivers, imagine if you will: roll in, AG called up, go DGFT, strafe while stepping on the rudder to spray 20mm everywhere (and I mean everywhere), then go back to AG and put the pipper on the tgt. The leadership at the LIK was not impressed - directive came out "no more F-16 ground strafe prior to dropping bombs." The guy who started it did it because his old man flying Jugs in WW II, would strafe with the guns while on a bombing pass as it caused the bad guys to duck rather than shooting at him. Whoda ever thought?

    Who cares. Unless your the parent of some doofus that claims he is a woman and uses the women's locker room. And by doofus I mean someone I would want to beat the crap out of. Sometimes it is not about individual freedoms.
