Any approvals today? Anyone else still hanging on to hope?

Chizz any idea on the year group makeup of those 50?

So, more approvals tomorrow? Or was that the big push?

So I think if your CMS is still awaiting approval or disapproval...that might be indicative of a disapproval. I hope I'm wrong, but it seems with all the forum and FB posts, that they were batch-processed for notifying those approved. Or is it possible approval will happen the rest of this week, and they have to click approve/disapprove in every members vMPF application?

It's after nearly 6 in the CST, are folks getting notified just checking their email and the notification is fresh?

Do you read that as notifications will go this week (specifically mentions today) if approved, and no news is bad news with a disapproval coming next Tuesday?

I understand it's a volunteer program, but am I wrong in expecting some sort of resolution and better communication? What happened to transparency? Most of us waiting have been in this posture of uncertainty for nearly four months!

Anyone called recently to check on the status of VSP apps? Still looking at est. Friday this week? I know it's somewhat of a fruitless call, but some customer service reps seem to know more than others (or at least pretend to know more). Do you think the new FY15 numbers reflect projected VSP/TERA applications slated for approval? The have changed from the FY14 numbers they released.

Anybody heard of any denials once it was at 'Off of Voluntary Sep Pay' in CMS?

So what we know about VSP applications at this point--They go from the member (who can select if they want to be considered for a reserve commission) to the squadron commander, to the wing commander to AFPC for batch processing. The Squadron Commander can recommend approval or disapproval and indicate if you are excess to local requirements and under investigation, etc. The Wing Commander then recommends approval or disapproval with comments. When you check the status under -View my application- on vMPF for those past the Wing/CC phase it says "referred to BPO" However, if you access the Case Management system under the homepage of vMPF for some people it says "AFPC OFF Voluntary Separation Pay" or "referred to BPO" It would seem that those members who have an application status of "AFPC OFF Voluntary Separation Pay" are checked out and ready for approval -- but that is pending actually needing to approve their application based on the matrix updating. After speaking with a member at the TFSC, she stated that she is not sure when applications for the majority of rated members will be -- but for some reason she thought it would be 1 May or 7 May. What did most people put on their application for AFRC? Is it reasonable to think that if the member is eligible (with the newly announced waivers) and the application made it to "AFPC OFF Voluntary Separation Pay" if there is a need in their year group to reduce the number of rated officers, their application will be approved?
