Are there squadrons where you'll typically find the higher-speed dudes? I remember reading somewhere about the 19FS (F-15C) up at Elmendorf being the Air Force's top albino squadron...what's up with that? More of an urban legend-type thing?

Edit: The 19FS article had nothing to do with their recent William Tell "victory", it was written a few years ago.

Since AD operational squadrons have a complete turn-over of personnel about every 2-3 years, you'll find the reputation/atmosphere of particular squadrons differ constantly.

What's good now may suck by the time you get there, or the opposite may be true and what is considered a bunch of dirtbags may be heroes.

Guard/Reserve Fighter Squadrons tend to make/keep

their reps alot longer. I flew A-10's with the same guys for almost 11 years.
