September 6, 200619 yr So I was reading through my copy of the T-34 limitations, and it says that normal operation burns 335 lbs/hr. Holy hell, that seems like a lot! Is this thing right, or do I have bad info? What is normal fuel flow on some other airframes? Also, if this info is wrong, does anyone know where I can get some good info on the T-34? Thanks a million!
September 6, 200619 yr It's been a while since I flew the turbo-weenie, but that sounds about right. Is that gouge, or out of the NATOPS? The C-21 burns about 1700-1800 lbs/hr on average.
September 6, 200619 yr Max AB during low level or at T/O 290,000 - 325,000 lbs/hr. Normal flight is between 16,000 - 22,000 lbs/hr depending on GW.
September 6, 200619 yr Check over at www.airwarriors.com. They should have the info you're looking for. 290,000-325,000 lbs! That's just plain ludicrous [ 06. September 2006, 16:34: Message edited by: mmkk111 ]
September 6, 200619 yr FNG, 335 per hour is correct for max power in the T-34, 125 lb/hr at idle. If you have anymore questions about the T-34 feel free to ask but do it quick. I had my last flight last night and am in the process of performing a beer assisted brain dump. Dude

I've never flown the turbo weenie so I have no clue. But compared to planes like the Tweet, that burn rate is awesome.
