I’ve scoured the JTR (only outlines must be used for “temporary lodging” and “must use government lodging if available”). Been given the green light by finance saying the Pentagon doesn’t have an attached lodging requirement so good on the economy. 
 

Am I good to AirBnB with TLE? I know I have to have an itemized receipt (doable) for each night. 
 

Finance Guy around?

Not a finance guy but I used AirBnB for TLE when I PCSd last summer and finance accepted it no problem. I didn’t even have an itemized receipt, the finance rep just filled out a lost receipt form for me.

    Yes it’s fine. I made my own receipt showing the total divided by the number of nights as my total for each night. They accepted it
