BRS continuation bonus details are out

Each service was given the opportunity to set their own bonus. It could be handed out at the 8-12 year mark and the amount could be anywhere between 2.5-13X your base pay based upon the needs of the service.  Accepting adds a 4 year ADSC...

AF finally released their details. You get 2.5X base pay for an additional 4 years. It will be handed out at the 12 year mark for all those who opt into the BRS.

For the officers its:

2.5 X $7230 (Major over 12) = 18,075

After taxes approx $13,556

$3,390 per year
