July 24, 201312 yr I signed a 3 year ADSC in order to get back into the cockpit before retirement. I hit 20 years in May of 2015. My ADSC commits me through Dec of 2015. Is it possible that an 11B can get a waiver to retire at 20 (6-7 months short of my ADSC)? If so, what's the process? Thanks. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk HD
July 24, 201312 yr I would go to AFPC & check the latest SERB message (came out this week). I think I remember something about ADSC waivers in there...that is if you're an O-5.
July 24, 201312 yr Assuming you haven't looked at it yet, you might want to look at how much of a bump staying to 21 years will give you in your monthly paycheck after retirement, rather than get out at 20 if your ADSC takes you to 20 years and 7 months.

Passed over Major. Not a factor. Years of service includes credit for each full month of service as one-twelfth of a year.
