On sudays at 8pm on PBS there is a new documentary on WWII that looked very interesting. Thought I'd post a clip or two and give you guys a heads up!

Looks like a great program. We won't be able to get eye-witness accounts for much longer.

Ken Burns is the man.

He could make a documentary of anything be amazing. So when he does the Civil War or World War II? Great work.

I'm sure I am like everyone here and has watched just about everything on the Military/History Channels. My biggest complaint is the same old footage over and over. Shots like the Japanese Zero rolling over and hits the Pacific head first from the Marianas Turkey Shoot. Well this doc has some amazing aerial color footage and I am amazed. Specifically some great 8AF stuff.
