  1. Hello everyone, I recently went to Wright Patt and when I was up there they didn't know what was on my cornea. They wanted to make sure it wasn't something that would get bigger. They told me to go to a specialist, which I did the Monday after getting back home. The specialist said that it is just a scar on my eye. So I faxed the paperwork up there saying that it's just a scar on my eye and I think nothing more of it because the specialist was 100% positive it was just a scar. Then I get called in by my commander and I'm told that I'm still DQed and now I'm reclassified into a different job. When I was up there the optometrist said that it wouldn't be a big deal and at a maximum I'd have to get it rechecked in 3 months, but now they're telling me I'll have to get it rechecked in 6 months to be qualified and I don't have my pilot slot, even though I went to a specialist and they said there's nothing wrong with my eye. I'm trying to figure out what else I can do and if it's even possible to get my pilot slot back (I'm an ROTC cadet and I'm graduating May 17). I've been looking everywhere for information and all I've been told is that I'll be able to apply on active duty for a pilot slot, but I shouldn't have to even do that because my eye is fine. I was also told that a waiver process should have been started for me or something and that definitely didn't happen.
