    I can tell you that neither one of my South African friends shed a tear over his passing. In fact they both had rather harsh things to say while he was still sick. True, their status quo as whites changed greatly once the ANC and Mandela came into power, but they've implied that SA turned to shit pretty rapidly in the mid-90's. One transplanted here with his family as some of their relatives were murdered, and the other came over in his early 30's to escape the destruction of any semblance of civility in his home nation,

    Do the math. What percentage of the US population is military age MCHM? What percentage of serves in the military, all the way down to what percentage of those who fly AF aircraft are MCHM? I just guessing, but I bet the percentages go up and you get to your unit. How do you explain that? These authors probably (again, I haven't read the report) think it has to do with institutional and cultural advantages. Not saying I agree or disagree because as I have said, I haven't read the report, but I don't see what is pissing you off so much about this.

    Are you ######ing kidding? How many black, homosexual, atheist woman want to fly fighters? Why are those at the Pentagon (and liberals leaders) so damn interested in quotas? Filling quotas is bad business if you're truly interested in hiring the highest quality individuals for an extremely demanding job. Sometimes it sounds like you've forgotten any lesson you may have learned as a CGO (for instance, like how spectacularly unfair of an advantage minorities have getting into and staying in UPT). It appears that you and your cronies have totally succumbed to the liberal/corporate mentality that pervades the upper echelon. The ideal of completely perfect quotas is not an enlightened viewpoint which the lower ranks are either not privy to, or too barbaric to understand. It's just a short-sighted appeasement which weakens our fighting force.

    A man is drinking alone in a bar when a pretty girl walks in. She orders two double shots, and kills 'em both in seconds. The man, who hasn't said a word all night, asks the woman why she's drinking so heavy this evening. She looks over and says "My bastard boyfriend just broke up with me. He said I was just too kinky for him". At this, the man perks up and exclaims "No way! My girlfriend just broke up with me because I'm too kinky!"

    Well, soon after they decide to ditch the bar and head back to her place to get a bit crazy. Immediately after walking into her apartment, the lady locks the door, releases a sex swing from the ceiling, and tells him that she's going to change into something more "comfortable".

    A few minutes later she walks out of her room in a full leather S&M outfit, complete with a riding crop and chains. To her surprise, though, the guys is zipping up his pants and unlocking the door. She is taken aback, and asks "What the hell?! I thought we were going to get kinky!", to which the guy responds, as he's walking out the door, "Lady, I just ######ed your dog and shit in your purse! What else do you want from me?"

    Why should I or anyone else be subjected to a picture of your wife in a bikini? Why do you want other people to look at this picture? What message are you trying to send those you work with? You shouldn't wear a bikini to work, display calendars of models wearing bikinis or put up a picture of your wife in a bikini. It is clearly sexual in nature and not appropriate for the workplace.

    However, the picture of the wife in the bikini is not that big of a deal. It is probably on the lowest end of the sexually offensive material scale. That is probably why the sq commander used a picture of a model in a bikini. It is not so offensive that it crosses the line of performing sexual harassment exercises by actually sexually harassing people. It is an example of a commander being creative and aggressive in the effort to prevent sexual harassment and assault. Nobody is arguing for paperwork or NJP for inappropriate material at work. Most are encouraging self policing, awareness and a better understanding of what is inappropriate at work. No clear line, but a clear objective: clean up the workplace by removing sexually offensive and inappropriate material. Like Tony Carr points out, putting the fake picture on a Lts desk in a predominately enlisted workplace was not smart.

    JTDFC. If you truly are who you claim, the Air Force is ed. I don't say that lightly.

    I agree with the vast minority comment, but not on leaders, but on the stories in this group. I believe the vast minority of each story has some truth. I believe the problem with your AF is the entitlement your young pilots seem to have. "This is why I got out of AMC". A good leader would suck it up, try to make it to a position where you can make these changes. Instead you run and leave your "wingman" to endure. To the vast majority complaining on this forum, reflect on your own integrity and ask yourself what you can do to make it better instead of complaining on a public forum.

    Suck a bag of dicks. A good leader would get the ###### out and go make a difference somewhere where they were actually given the authority to lead.

    So you know for a fact there was no reason for a dorm inspection? That the Wing leadership was just "screwing with people for no reason"?

    I'm not saying dorm inspections just for shits and giggles are ok - that's bullshit. But I have to believe that the WG/CC and Command Chief weren't just sitting around on Friday going, "Hey, what are you doing tomorrow night? Wanna go ###### with some airmen?"

    All I'm saying is without the whole picture I'm not ready to condemn someone based on conjecture posted on BO.net.

    And you're right - 600 CGOs getting their room searched at 0400 would be bullshit - because they're not 18 year olds who just graduated high school and are living away from their parents for the first time ever.

    Now if you'll excuse me I have some sock checks to do.

    He didn't have to twist them. Your view on junior enlisted is why there is a held disdain for many in the officer corps. There are 168 hours in a week, and they chose the absolute worst hour to run this kind of event. Think what you will, but unless there were realistic and believable last-minute reports of an unknown populous at the dorms using drugs, this was a bullshit move. And since no one has mentioned mass drug tests, I'm assuming that wasn't the case.

    I guarantee no one notified the dorm residents as to why their last day of the weekend was ######ed up, either. If you think that's alright, I'm guessing you've somehow acquired the notion that you are far better and more deserving than the troops we're supposed to lead.

    I forgot that 18 year old Airmen are entitled to their beauty rest.

    Last time I checked, anyone living in the dorms are JUNIOR enlisted in the MILITARY. A 0400 dorm inspection wouldn't even register on the "things to bitch about" radar of CGOs in the other services....in fact it would probably be the CGOs conducting the inspections.

    WTF does anything you've typed have to do with AF airmen? Or being a productive LEADER to them? Every dude on here would blow their roofs if we were treated that way, especially if you were stationed at the shithole that is Cannon. So you've got a bunch of young airmen, at a locale with zero morale, and you wake them up at 0400 on a weekend to ###### with them more? For what cause? Can you not see why anyone with a reasonable chance to jump ship ASAP would do so?

    Yes, real football is those things. And they actually play defense in the NFL. And quarterbacks aren't dumb jocks that get by on physical prowess and a lack of parity (aka Young and Tebow), they have to actually be smart and intuitive, too. Look, there's no comparison between the two and you know it. And of course barely anybody runs the triple option, everybody knows that, and I was clearly being facetious.

    If you want to cheer for your little region of your little state because there's not a pro team within 1000 miles, more power to you. If I'm coming off as elitist, then that's because the NFL is literally, by definition, elite, and college isn't. That makes me neither bitter, nor angry, though. Just telling it how it is.

    Am I the only one who sincerely hopes I'll one day be blessed enough to have the opportunity to punch you in the face?

    This is one of the reasons why someone like the shirt needs to be on-board with the policy. When Amn Joe comes to the shirt because finance isn't paying out dependent BAH/FSA/slow-rolling DEERs enrollment (I know that one isn't finance) for his new husband Bob, the shirt should be supportive in Amn Joe's attempts to un-###### his pay and benefits. Do you really think a shirt who so strongly believes gay marriage is wrong will put in the same effort for Joe and Bob that he would put in for Joe and Barbara?

    I would like to know what you think the Democratic party's plan is for the future of this country. In other words, if your party had complete control, where would we be in 20 years? Speak to the welfare state/entitlement programs, debts and deficits, size and capability of the military, immigration, gun control and education. I'd like to hear your views and see if they line up with what we have seen over the last 4 1/2 years or so.

    Dude, didn't you know that it would be a hand-holding Utopia where children play in lollipop fields? Lazy shitbags would find a work ethic and contribute to the grand socialist nation while our one-time enemies vacationed to and lauded our beautiful land.
