Update: My squadron just sent the email out for deadline (Sep 02). We're almost there guys!

Yeah I just added the dates associated with my combat hours and total hours…. Just to show those are only current as of August of this year. Understanding that I’ll be close to 1000 by the time the board is meeting up.

Rated squadron (RPAs). There’s no deadlines set, just doing an internal bro level QC of all docs with the front office/execs. They said they’d let me know when the no shit deadline is in case I need to submit anything else last minute or update something.

lol my squadron leadership still has no due dates but I submitted all my stuff to the front office in a lengthy email with like 9 attachments last night. Big weight off my shoulders, the ball is in their court now. The next few months is gonna SUCK waiting in anticipation. Time to crack a beer and wait. Good luck to us all boys and ladies.

I think the delay is literally people being lazy. My friend in another squadron in the OG told me his squadron set a deadline. Heard back from the DS today and this is what he said: "It'll most likely be a last minute tasker (within 2 weeks) so I would get all the needed documents and items knocked out now"

Still nothing from my squadron/group. I think my squadron is slacking tho. DS literally said "yeah just send me the stuff over if you have it" -_-

Someone could probably correct me if I'm wrong, but yeah you'll need a 2808. That's the document with the blue stamp on it that says you got FCI. That comes straight from Wright Patt.. I believe this document is valid for 4 years. The 2992 Im pretty sure is just from your flight doc. That needs to show also you are FCI rated along with an expiration that exceeds your training timeline I believe. Mine says: "THIS 2992 IS VALID FOR 48 MONTHS UNTIL MEMBER IS TRAINED. MUST HAVE ANNUAL FLY PHA TO STAY CURRENT ON FLIGHT STATUS" I also got a AF422? Which shows your clearance in a printed form for whatever job you're trying to apply for. Mine says 92T0. BLUF: If the package calls for it, you have to submit it. Pretty sure the only thing different for flyers is we gotta submit our training record/eval record. I think.

Nope, not yet. I was trying to find out the exact same thing. At least to my knowledge. I did talk to the execs and they said they'd let me know when they want deliverables. I'm expecting sometime soon as the stuff for the application was due around June last year. I'm currently on a TDY so it's been hard to get face to face time with anyone at the squadron. From what I know, (last year) the execs wanted people to write their personal statements and have medical, PCSM, etc squared away so the CC could start working on their LOR and push that towards the group level for the Group CC LOR. From there I think your package goes to the wing and onward, but I'm not sure either!

First time applying, current RPA pilot. 96 PCSM 90 AFOQT Pilot 50 Flight hours No PPL Not sure about squadron or wing ranking lol Flight Lead Upgrade, Mission Commander, >700 combat hours in the MQ-9. Sq Pilot of the Quarter Award. Wing Aircrew Safety Award (Quarterly). Did a joint exercise VF/Bamboo Eagle last year. Did a 2 month LNO gig with the supported unit. No leadership experience as that's more set at the Flt/CC level, and I'm still a 1LT. Will be frequenting this forum as the application process goes on this year. Good luck to us all!!!
