I'm still waiting too... High in the alphabet, no IFS, and on the older end of the spectrum. At this point, I feel like AFPC is just throwing darts haha.

Also, I don't see "apply to change/cancel assignment" as even an option in vMPF anymore but I swear I did last week. I guess I will just have to wait...

If you did the trick when you saw it you’ll have to go back and cancel the application because it saves it. Just follow the same steps and it should say something like remove or cancel or edit the application. After you do that you can redo the trick.

I also got an IFT training RIP. I have a PPL but still want to attend so this was a pleasant surprise but I’m not sure this was meant for me?

I am working with 19AF now to see where the disconnect is.  For some reason they exempted some of the folks with a PPL from attending IFT, but left 26 folks with a PPL in IFT.  I’ll get back with you when I hear back from them, but you should end up being exempt (unless it has been over 5 years since you last flew).

Just got that answer from the org box.

Yes, me! I reached out to the org box to see if I actually need to go. I'll post again if/when I hear back.

Still haven't heard back, but I found a welcome packet dated Jan 2021 with this "NOTE: PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE (PPC) HOLDERS OR HIGHER ARE PROHIBITED FROM ATTENDING IFT WITHOUT A WAIVER FROM AETC." Will follow up when I actually hear back.

Here's a link to the welcome packet for anyone interested. https://www.l3harris.com/sites/default/files/2020-09/as-mt-datasheet-doss-arrival-Guide.pdf

My CDB is showing 3 Mar for MFS. I went in 2016 for RPA after OTS, and again in 2019 to get a waiver for my FC1. That place makes me nervous so I'm gonna try and dig a little and see if there is anyway I can get out of it lol.

Can I ask why it makes you nervous? Tryna figure out if I need to mentally prepare to go..I have 3 Feb dates.

I did not get my first choice, so I am trying to determine if I want to accept CSO. My scores were 92p/83pcsm. I just retook the TBAS and have a 92p/94pcsm. I would like to think those numbers would guarantee me a slot next year, but looking at the wide range of selects I am not so sure. If I accept CSO I would be able to apply one more time without an age waiver. I am trying to determine if I should go for it next year or take CSO since being a CSO helps with the package and offers a great backup position!

I would reach out to Chris to see if he can give you feedback. My boss reached out on my behalf last year and I was able to see why I wasn't picked up (I had decent scores 86 PCSM, 96 Pilot, PPL). You can also reach out to people who got what you wanted. I had someone reach out to me last year asking about RPAs (I turned it down) but I had no issue sending my application to him. The numbers don't matter as much as we would think. I reapplied with the same scores and slightly better strats and I got picked up this year.

    Good luck in your decision!

Anyone tracking when MFS dates are scheduled to post?

Last year I was given dates for MFS before I even declined my RPA slot.

Last year was offered RPA, this year UPT! When I didn't get a slot last year my boss reached out to the guy who manages the portal page and was able to get some feedback.

96 Pilot, 86 PCSM, PPL, 62 Flight Hours- same specs as last year.
