If any of you do not have training dates yet I would hit up the AFPC org box. Found out I am going to Vance for the 11/1 UPT class but more importantly I have an IFT date of 17 Mar which was WAY closer than I expected. Glad I reached out.
I have an RNLTD, but no class start date. How did you receive that?

Mine hasn't yet and I went last week.
Ok, cool – not just a “me” dilemma lol

For those that’ve already completed MFS, did the date fall off of your “projected training” section on your CDB?
-
Anyone get a formal “Hey congratulations, you passed/no issues” out of MFS?
-
Oh ya know, just still waiting for insight to training RNLTD/site

Anyone else with Vance and an 11/1 UPT start?
Did you want Vance? @Arkbird was Columbus your #1 preference?

Honestly feel the same way. I know MFS is probably going to end up being low threat but right now it seems like another gate to get through where something could go wrong, CRS-wise.
Sending positive vibes your way!

Was trying to wrap my mind around this corneal topography/mapping assessment & what’s a disqualifying outcome… just gave up 😅

Used the EFMP trick to find out I'm going to Columbus! @CoolCar I'll be seeing you out there at some point.
What’s this EFMP trick you speak of?

Got notified over the last couple days by both FSS and my leadership. IFT scheduled for 5 Apr. Sheppard report date of 1 Aug. Wheels are turning pretty quick. May all of us have an uneventful MFS!
ENJPT, solid!

I also got an IFT training RIP. I have a PPL but still want to attend so this was a pleasant surprise but I’m not sure this was meant for me?
I’ve got my PPL too, would love to have an opportunity to go.

No CDB update (still shows 3 Feb). The MFS POC called my cell and updated me, as well as sent an email, so I amended my DTS orders and adjusted the itinerary/booked new flights.
Ah, nice. Glad it was all cleared up quickly

After you sign the RIP, your UTM will send it up. Then you'll get an email from AETC saying your LOA has been preloaded into DTS. Then you can accomplish your DTS authorization. You should also get an email from the MFS POC with the instructions. I got mine 9 days from my scheduled physical.
My MFS was just moved from this Thursday to next Monday due to the inclement weather rolling in.
Someone reach out to you direct to reschedule your appointment or just notice CDB update?

I've got MFS scheduled for 10 Feb and haven't heard anything except my unit asking me to sign a training RIP. Tried calling and emailing the MFS number from their website, but haven't gotten through. How did you guys find the LOA/details about the TDY?
TDY-to-School POC reached out via email with LOA/DTS guidance. MFS rep reached out via email as well soon after.

I believe that link is of you haven't done your FCI otherwise the exams should resemble what is posted on the link.
Ah! Copy. More so for ROTC/OTS then…

Tips for any of the exams/assessments, anyone? Tracking much is out of our control and a few are headed out there this week

MFS has me shook at well. Tempted to just wear shades, everywhere…all the time for the next 36 days.

Which bases did you guys put as your preference for UPT? And are CSOs not going to IFT anymore?
I requested Vance as my #1.

Vision isn't bad. It's pretty much the same as anywhere else except they also use a machine to take pictures of your eyes. They specifically look at your retina, optic nerve, and cornea I believe.
Interesting. Looking forward to it!

It was fine. Just a lot of waiting and medical exams. I went in the winter so it was a snowy and cold. I already have two waivers approved pending completion of MFS. One for having weird eyes and one for childhood asthma which wasn't asthma.

Blessings to an uneventful trip to WRAFB this next time! I hear the vision assessment is intense.

Sounds like we'll have to wait for the PSDM to get the true numbers.
MFS wasn't terribly fun. I'm really not looking forward to going back.
Ah, how was your 1st experience with MFS? Need any waivers?

Ah, you asked her to send it you? Did she get it to you quickly? I didn’t know flight med would have them already either.
