Based on anything or just a gut feeling? Also ive noticed that in at least the past two years the board will update the UFT page on the portal with an expected relese date. Nothing on the page yet, that is if they do the same this year.

So the board needs an additional 7 days after they get the results back to work assignments?

I believe a message gets auto generated and sent out to an inbox typically managed by the exec.

Hopefully the late dec-early Jan is more of a generic timeline they use as a placeholder.

The commanders advance notification is 7 days prior? If so that would be the 13th, so hopefully this week!
Just out of curiosity what are the average PCSM scores for ROTC selects? Unfortuantly as far as I know the board never releases any info as to how they rate packages. All they release are average PCSM scores of selects and how many has PPLs. I think last year the average was upper 70s for PCSM and around 50% had their PPL.
Looking back on last year they sent the list to AFPC/CC for approval Feb 15 and results were released on AFPC Secure on March 2, so about two weeks. If the signatures mentioned before are any indication I would guess around two weeks?
Wright-Patt number 3 here. Glad to hear my FC1 at USAFSAM counts as MFS. That was not a fun two days.
Not sure if UCT is the same as UPT but I had a friend going through UCT and he was told as long as his clearance is pending he can go through the pipeline. As stated above I think the real issue arises when you start airframe specific training.
Maybe I’m just being pessimistic but with the holidays and all late December sounds more like early January to me. If I remember correctly last years board also ended up being a bit delayed.
Just got numbers for my end of the woods. Fall under a center rather than a traditional wing, but we only had two applicants this year. Best of of luck to everything submitting today!
200 for all rated positions? If I remember from past threads that sounds about the same as prior years.
Damn between this and pushing the due date back until Oct 26 seems like they are really looking for a lot of applicants this year. Hopefully good news for all! With the board scheduled for the second week in November, I'm assuming the Nov 2(?) date to update will remain the same. Although as I race to finish my PPL a slight bump to the right would certainly be nice.
I have heard anything one way or another, but I have had several friends in non-rated AFSCs be approached by their commanders about applying. Taskers came down having commanders talk to CGOs about applying, per what my friend said. If I had to make an educated guess with that info I would assume some kind on increase over last year.
