  1. To be clear, I have now been picked up by two separate boards almost a decade apart. It took a long time time to overturn the FC1 DQ, with numerous specialist reassessments along the way. I owe a lot to a great Flight Surgeon that was willing to go out on a limb and write a waiver for me.
  2. Looks like I'll be early to the November class party, but ill be just ahead of you all in the Vance 6 Oct class.
  3. Who did you call for the dorms at Vance? The POC I was given by the MHO evidently is not inclined to pick up their phone. Thanks!
  4. Has anyone received an SF-600 from MFS yet? They told me to expect it within a week of attending but I have not received anything yet...
  5. Looks like we might be classmates! I'll shoot you a DM.
  6. Thanks for the gouge. I'm now glad I got my unit to fund a rental car for me next week. Per the ENFP hack this morning it looks like I will be headed to Vance! Still waiting on dates though...
  7. Good luck man! Hoping everything goes smoothly for you!
  8. Ahh that's what I was missing, thanks!! (Still nothing for me yet though.)
  9. I'm still waiting too... High in the alphabet, no IFS, and on the older end of the spectrum. At this point, I feel like AFPC is just throwing darts haha. Also, I don't see "apply to change/cancel assignment" as even an option in vMPF anymore but I swear I did last week. I guess I will just have to wait...
  10. I was on an email this morning with about 25 of us stating that they were unable to confirm our PPL for IFT exemption and requesting more info. My assumption is this may be why some of us are still awaiting assignments.
  11. Interesting they would change it after the RIP. Now they have to cut a CNX RIP in addition to the new one. I wonder what is causing the thrash.
  12. There's a spot on the RIP for requesting for leave en route.
  13. No it doesn't, which is why the PSDM states its on you to re-accomplish your FC1 if your 48 months is up before your UPT class start date. Unfortunately, I might be in that bucket if I don't start by November.
  14. The portal page says 30-45 days after official notification expect to start receiving assignment RIPs for training with events (presumably MFS) starting as early as March 2022. Perusing the '21 board forum here some selectees haven't even started UPT yet so it would seem the pipeline is in one heck of a logjam right now.
  15. Is Randolph still a selectable base for UPT now? From articles it sounded like they took 5 classes for training of initial cadre on 2.5 and then might be done.
  16. Do all UPT/RPA selects go to MFS? 48-123 seems to suggest that inter-service transfers are the only way to skip it.
  17. Pilot Select! 82 PCSM/78 AFOQT/PPL/Non-Rated Aircrew (FTE) with 169 hours/TFCSD ETP So incredible to be earning a slot back after losing my first out of ROTC to medical DQ. It's been a very long road. Never give up folks! #MakeThemTellYouNo
  18. Haha classic MPF. I'd like to formally thank AFPC for posting the information to a system only accessible by individuals who have more pressing matters to attend to.
  19. Agreed. It's posted to the secure version for a reason.
  20. I am kind of in the same boat. I personally have been getting hung up on the posted stats for AFOQT pilot averages for the last few boards that seem to suggest it's super highly valued in selection, which is odd considering it's not even tracked for earlier boards. I feel like my PCSM is in range for selection but I am a fair bit below a mid 90's for the AFOQT pilot. I wonder if it's a common trait of those that get selected vice a key descriminator for selection. It seems like you can have an hours padded PCSM or a AFOQT padded PCSM and that the past few boards seem to be skewed towards the later. I guess we will find out soon enough!
