  1. So I'm confused... were you counseled that Pilot just isn't going to happen for you and to re-apply next time w/o pilot as a choice, or as an alternate can you choose ABM or CSO? Let me know if you have any questions about CSO. That said I echo argo's statement. Don't let yourself wonder "what if" the rest of your career.
  2. Thx. Hopefully big blue remembers there is a pilot shortage and picks up you guys who are alt's.
  3. Do you know this because you saw the PSDM? Or is this what your CC said. I ask because my leadership is on leave through the rest of the week and if somebody had a copy I would love to get my hands on it. :)
  4. Sorry for the late post, but I was unable to post on NIPR and had to wait until I got home. I called AFPC @ 1530 Central. What I was told was that the PSDM had been signed and that it was uploaded to their email system. Tomorrow morning the system will gen up an email to all the senior raters and be disseminated to the selected applicants. Thursday the PSDM will post to MyPers and be available for all to view. Sucks we suffer through another night, but this info came from the Maj managing the board so I feel like this is pretty solid info. Thus, unless there is another hiccup/delay we will all be finding out tomorrow. Try to make it through the night and good luck to all.
  5. Has anybody heard anything today? Nothing has come down my chain yet.
  6. For the CSO's looking to apply in the future. Probably a little bit late for those applying this year, but I wanted to add my two cents. If you took the AFOQT prior to your CSO/Nav training I would strongly suggest taking it a second time (especially if you had little to no flight experience prior to taking it the first time). I purchased Barrons (not endorsing that product, or really any as the test has changed and I didn't find any that are full up on the new T version yet) and studied for about a week or two. Taking the test I wasn't too sure on how I had did and didn't really feel too confident. Well, a week later found out that my pilot went from a 68 to a 99. I understand not wanting to get a lower score, but if you have been flying during the past 2.5+ years like the majority who will apply I strongly suggest giving it a second go. Incidentally my Nav score dropped from a 98 to a 95 (skipped a question in block counting and had to restart after being halfway finished). Good luck to all the applicants this board.
