Me as well. WTF is the point of the board being directed, "You shall not consider # of APZ looks or Year Group....and here's a DP, Airman - congrats" then a big "GFY' from the board. Seriously?! Also looking fwd to forgetting about this downward spiral of a career choice.

Nope. IDE complete, Masters done, interagency work, Jt assignments, strats. Problem is I’m a broke flyer not racking up the air medals and flt-related tick marks any more. I’ve never heard of TWO GO-lvl DPs with no pick-up for someone w/no checkered past. And I heard they had to do more of a non-select counseling or digging if the DP came from a General Officer and board didn’t heed his push. Is that true? Got the call today - no go as a X APZ bubba. Not shocked (last year also not picked up even with clean record and a 2-Star DP...!). I was never shown this year's PRF - honestly didn't care at the time because it's not like there'd be a chance in hell after the non-select with that DP. BUT.... just looked at it off PRDA and guess what....ANOTHER DP from a CCMD J3. W. T. F. is going on here

My J1 RUMINT source said today that the delay is due to GOs going round-round about the lineup of the pin-on order since the BTZ is gone and they went to this new “merit-based” package score ranking. Yeah I don't know how that direction will be implemented - I heard about it then read the directive. It doesn't go into more details so maybe the board will address with masking some stuff - but I doubt it.

Keep in mind the SecAF sent a directive to the board this year that they are NOT to consider how many times someone is passed over. It's I/APZ, and that memo effectively makes all the APZs 1-above. Or 2-above...however the board member applies their subjectivity. Same DP allocation %, and it wouldn't be hard if that member wanted to look at DOR, "but not take that into account". Yeah. Hmmmm...

Apparently there’s some truth..? I’m a “well north of 2xAPZ” iron Maj that was surprised to see a “Definitely Promote!” At the end of line 2 and the DP box marked. From a 2-star SR to boot. Come onnnnnnnn 90+%! Ha

LOW rate at this place. AND...before the records cutoff date, the..... 1. CC's exec (an O-3) arbitrarily made changes to PRF's....on his own accord. Re-formatting, changing bullets, REMOVING hard-hitting stats he didn't understand, etc. 2. CC blind-singed (at least this) PRF and send up. 3. SR (3-star) did same and submitted. When called out on it, CC fixed / polished up PRF, and resubmitted to SR for re-signature. SR declined to re-submit. "Not that much difference" (I'm guessing didn't want to acknowledge original product was terrible). I've seriously seen better looking bullets on draft OPRs from the noob Lt. OSB also shows previous assignment as current - submitted correction to AFPC early on. Ya think there's a cause for requesting a supplemental?? Granted, I'm 1APZ so I've acknowledged the low probability from early on, but a fair shake is a fair shake.
