    Fairchild has been doing business efforts recently trying to help out the units dying for currency. We love BEs because it keeps us away from flying around the flagpole day in and day out. We almost did one at Ellsworth but got hit with covid restrictions and had to help them from home station. I'd love to help out some units on the east coast. Charleston would be dope since it's home lol

    Fantasy Football

    NFL kickoff is in 25 days!  I organized a Baseops fantasy football league last year and I, at least, had a blast playing.  With that being said, I'm looking to start the league back up for this year and could use a few new managers to join.  We currently have 3 of 10 spots filled (the league can be expanded to 12 if we receive enough interest).  Buy in would be in the $25-50 range.  We play using the Sleeper app and I'm aiming for an online draft sometime between 30 Aug and 3 Sep.  I'd be glad to share scoring and additional league details if anyone is interested for more information.  This should be an interesting season to say the least but if you're looking for a bit of a distraction during these COVID restricted days, throw your hat in the ring and join up!

    I have to say that Jon and the team at Trident did a great job for my family with our first home purchase and then our most recent refinance with no costs out of pocket for us. It was again a great experience and they even worked to get things moving faster in the event of a sudden trip that got dropped on me. Great job guys, you guys rock. Highly recommend them!!

    Just wanted to post another great review for Trident. Those guys worked around the clock to get us everything on time and answer any questions we had about the process. They gave great unbiased advice and had the best rates around. Rates are continuing down and I would highly recommend using Trident if you are looking to buy or refinance. We worked with Jon, Lisa, and Bri and they were fantastic. They get a big fat E for everything. Thanks again guys!

    Anyone have any recommendations for lenders in WA? We’re moving to Fairchild and are looking to buy with a builder. The builder gets a construction loan and we do a normal home mortgage from what they told me. Looking for great rates and easy to work with.

    Yea I talked with some guys and am going to go ahead with it. I’m PCS enroute and they are on my orders so I’m with you. I got the letter and will be using it since they are listed on there. I don’t have separate orders for my TDY and PCS.

    They are on my PCS orders but the block talking about TDY doesn’t say one way or another. It just states student must use government lodging if available. The problem is if they weren’t with me they would be able to accommodate me and I wouldn’t get the non A letter. It sounds like it’s better to just turn in my receipts at the end of the month without the non a letter and just suck up the extra charges.

    I have a lodging question too. I’m currently TDY enroute to my PCS location and receiving BAH for my family while I’m here. My family decided to accompany me and I checked on base to see if they had lodging that could accommodate all of us and they said no. The gave me a non a letter but it does say accompanied by family on it. Will that cause a flag to finance and stop my BAH payment? Or am I good to go to turn in the letter to get my full reimbursement every month for our Crashpad?
