Same for me. We just heard from the wing that I got picked up, no details. I know the public list last year just had asterisks next to the enjjpt selects' names. Once we have a list we can check it. If not, we'll just get our base assignment I guess with our training rip

Thankfully it's people grading our packages and not an automated system. The LoR and personal letter may be the saving grace for a lot of us.

Lol. My thoughts exactly. At $100 and hr, it's an investment I really hope to get back tomorrow. I mean, we've seen pilot selects in that range before! Did you log combat time for your AF215? That's another bean I'm hoping helps me; I've pulled a decent amount of it for my two years

I feel good about my PCSM/PPL, but I partied hard in college and got a whopping 2.5 GPA... 😖 Hopefully the other parts of our packages far outweigh the bad. If I don't get picked up I guess it's even more flight hours and start a masters for next year.

Not board related, but I just talked to an old instructor from Randolph and he said they're looking at adding it as a UPT base as early as this summer. They currently have PIT there, but want to add an undergraduate class. It's not official yet, but it's early enough to potentially be starting up with this board.

I am on my way home to go to sleep #nightshift. Leads have been in staff/ops meetings all morning while I nervously pace the hallways and everyone asks me if I've heard anything so it looks like if I have good news it'll be Monday.

It's only an option for RPA guys from what I understood. I was told I'm not even allowed to crosstrain to ABM or CSO right now if I wanted to. The only way I can go is to pilot or stay RPA

Your solid source sounds a lot better than my squadron's guess. Doubles our odds! I was starting to worry that this was going to be some freak year with loads of apps.

Rumor alert: I have no solid source for this, but the estimate from leadership on my end is that applicants number over 350 with around the same number of spots as last year. 😖 I'm going over my app trying to see how I feel about making top 25%. I'm a pilot only with good bullets, solid (90s) AFOQT, but a lousy GPA and 2/2 strat. Wing rec helps I think. Wife got me a PSVR for Christmas. If I don't get picked up I'll buy the new Ace Combat and cry into my headset for a year until the next board. 😂

That's what I thought too; training rips with base assignment coming out a couple of weeks after notification. Although I guess that's entirely at the discretion of AFPC being bros and notifying everyone just on list sign-off.

Oh I'm sweating it without his help! Lol. I can't count the amount of times I've passed people in my Sq and they ask me if I've heard anything yet. It's nice to have support, but I can't go an hour without someone reminding me about it.
Damn. My contacts are casual butters on loan to AFPC. They knew a lot during planning but now they're clueless. Or acting clueless; both options are viable. In either case I'm out of insider knowledge. 😞
