  1. Are these emails auto generated from afpc or from your commander

Posted from the NEW Baseops.net App!

The e-mail came from AFPC and it's similar to the one posted a few days ago. It does say approved for voluntary separation pay. As soon as I can I'll post it for everyone. Sorry, I still think I'm in shock.

  2. I called TFSC. It's not for any VSP program. It's just for normal DOS-type enlisted separations. Allegedly, we will "probably" get notified by COB today or Tuesday at the latest. Who know.

Haha, I love TFSC...I'm pretty sure they just pay a bunch of poor GS-05s to sit in a room and tell them to guess at the answers of pissed off callers.

You will "probably" hear today or Tuesday...but I mean any Tuesday... from now to the end of the year.

  3. Just found out that I'm RIF eligible as well. This ought to be fun when they disapprove VSP for a bunch of us and then turn around and RIF us...

To be honest I would be thrilled to be RIF eligible, because if AFPC doesn't learn from it's 2011 mistake (and it's seriously looking that way) then you can send in a letter and get your 1.00 pay and get out of this effing clown show. While the rest of us are just pleading and begging our PC paperwork goes through. I know plenty of buddies who got RIF'd in 2011 and have big smiles on their faces!

  4. We had an 05 11M approved for VSP today. 3 years ADSC left. Applied late for VSP and never had the initial round of denials

Even though I would love for this to be true, I find it incredibly hard to believe. All I've heard for the past few days from leadership (I know, take that with a grain of salt) is that AFPC will not start processing the VSP applications that require the ADSC waiver until after 1 May. But in light of this new information from LookieRookie, I will go back to refreshing vMPF every 30 seconds.

(05, 11M, 3 years ADSC, currently "referred to BPO" after getting rejected the first round)

  5. I think they are the same. It will say something like "referred to af vsp office" or something like that in cms, but when you click view my application under voluntary separation it will say "referred to bpo"....others can chime in here, but that has been what people are reporting so far during this debacle.

Yea, that's correct, it just means your base sent it to AFPC and now they'll sit on it. Good luck!
