FY 14 Force Management Program (RIF, VSP, TERA)
Does anyone have a copy of the original PSDM announcing the FY14 Programs? If you have all versions, that'd be extremely helpful. Thanks! Posted from the NEW Baseops.net App!

Nasty, thank you for your so helpful comments! You don't know the details of my personal life so I don't think you are capable of determining my wants. Posted from the NEW Baseops.net App!

FY 14 Force Management Program (RIF, VSP, TERA)
I took a PCS instead of applying for VSP (although I really wanted to). I was afraid that I would lose my PCS while I awaited a decision. According to 14-08, I basically forfeited my eligibility. But now with the waiver release it says they will waive up to 2 years for PCS which is obviously what I incurred. So...I'm trying to figure out if I'm eligible here at my new duty station based on these 2 somewhat conflicting guidelines. Anyone have any ideas on this? Posted from the NEW Baseops.net App!

FY 14 Force Management Program (RIF, VSP, TERA)
Jrizzell, incorrect. 05 has been on the chopping block twice in a row now. Well that is if you count being eligible but not really being eligible for most of us last time.

Pilot over-reliance on automation.
Haven't tried that. Heck these days I'm usually in shock if they have a chart out that they can reach.

Pilot over-reliance on automation.
Thank you TheGuardGuy, that's exactly what I was saying.

Pilot over-reliance on automation.
It's not about the fix-to-fix, it's about being able to interpret the information from the instruments.

Pilot over-reliance on automation.
I'm at CBM and it's been a battle I've been fighting for a while now to reduce student reliance on MFD. You'd be surprised how many regional pilots are great with that MFD up, but the second you take it away and force them to use the bearing pointer and DME for SA, they get lost as a goose in a hurricane. Normal UPT students with no prior time are even more behind. The pulling of fix-to-fix required training has not helped this in the slightest. Just an opinion of a legacy herk guy that had no such tools. I can use them just fine, but function just fine without them.
