    First: Do not go to Airwarriors and ask the "What are my chances" question. That has been asked so many times by so many folks that it's now something you can get hammered for. Second: If you do your very best and get an awesome NSS, you'll have done all you can do. If there are jets available for selection you'll have a fighting chance. You have to get at least a 50 NSS to select tailhook. You'll hear alot of BS about different bases finish faster/guarantee jets/ etc. It's all just that: BS. Third: No matter what you get you'll love it. I somehow managed to end up flying the only heavy aircraft in the Navy inventory and I love every second (of the flying). Good luck.
