It's quite interesting how a failed presidential ticket campaigning on a message of bat shit crazy could inspire even more voters to turn out in a run off election. Definitely a conspiracy.

I guess the first thing to improve would be a Biden Presidency won't echo talking points from the GRU. Secondly, we might not get a new SecDef every 9 months. Thirdly, DOD and DOS policy might actually synch better, have more thought out strategy, and we won't have to react based on Twitter diplomacy. Finally, the "F!@#$ your Feelings" group would have a lot of crow feathers to pick out of their teeth.

Europe's response to second wave has now started to lower case rates again. I would say falling apart is a bad characterization. Also, most people over here don't conflate COVID response measures with politics. Everyone is rallied together to minimize the needless deaths on the susceptible populations.

Can anyone with staff experience weigh in on what exactly happens with these promotion lists? I find it hard to believe folks would be added/dropped from a promotion list that was chaired by 06 and flag officers. And if that's not the case why all the delays?

Transient as far as i know, but when I was deployed there we each got our own.

To add to the suckage, they make c17 crews stay 4 to a room in the trailers. It makes alert time ridiculous and makes you choose your crewmembers wisely.
