I generally just lurk around these parts but saw this thread so I'll add my $0.02. IoT (internet of things), aka machines talking to machines. I for one will bow to my skynet overlords one day and hope that they will see this post and spare me to a life of meaningless servitude. personally I'm in heavy with SWIR which has doubled in the past few months from my entry point at $20 but I still see plenty of room to keep going and think it could be a triple digit stock from here. I have a Mossberg 930 for 3Gun and a 500 (with a side saddle) for HD along with my AR. Either way, put a light on it so you can see what you are aiming at. BTW, I personally believe if you are going to shoot an intruder in your house, shot to stop, not annoy--aka buckshot. This is what I have loaded (not my review...lol): (I don't have any kids so I'm not worried about other people in other rooms) As for the 930 shooting--great price and only issue I had is really really light birdshot. Any buck, slug and all 7 1/2 1100 fps+ birdshot cycles great. But I clean the crap out of it every time a shoot it and spray silicon spray on the piston. I have heard people having problems with the 930 so I go overboard but I haven't. The SPX is a good gun. Only mod I would recommend is getting an oversize safety to be able to find it fast when the pressure situation happens. (Both my 930 and 500 have them-easy to install). Of course throwing on a longer mag tube gives you more rounds (min has an 8 round mag tube).

This is why i bought a cheap FOSCAM that can motion detect and send me emails direct to my iphone. Also using the iPhone app I can to talk through the camera and let anybody in the house know, "Hey %^&*, I've called the cops, get the $%^&*( out!" Safe + security camera better than just safe. (IMHO)

I already had about 20 PMAGs but bought another 5 windowed versions just out of principle. The largest (I believe) gun shop in Co Springs has also talked about moving out. Think a gutted Walgreens Pharmacy full of guns. It's not my favorite place but they do have selection. I hope they do move too. "readily convertible" = illegal in CO. You beat me to it. While I like it, as a exercise in thinking two steps down the road: 1. Private FFLs would not do it unless they were reimbursed. 2. You could set up an FFL check at local DMVs and let the State or Fed handle funding. Both parties come in (w/o the gun) do the check, depart the area and trade/sell the gun(s). 2a. the 4473 would have to be adjusted as nobody is logging a gun in then out. 2b. there would be no record, just a check of criminal background history and legality of owning a firearm 2bi hell you could do this to check on your new live in nanny and I bet more people would use it for that than firearm transfers but it would be nice to have that ability to check someone out 2bii I get great thoughts when loading my shotgun. Instead of both parties having to be there, they could individually walk in and do the check. They would receive a form indicating the check was complete and a code could be given. Each party could swap codes and call them into an automated phone number where it would advise of the check's outcome. Computers and science could solve it but if it is like DTS then nobody would use it. Let Apple develop it! I have bought plenty of guns online from dealers, gunbroker and internet gun forums. I have also bought from people who frequent a local gun forum that has a trading post. I showed my CCW, he showed me his. Heat the kydex in the oven. Depending on the thickness of the kydex around 300-350 degrees. Get it any hotter and you'll burn it. then sandwich it with the gun (note; put in the magazine in the gun with polymer framed guns) outside is two sheets of plywood, mayo/mustard is two pieces of foam, then the kydex with the gun in the middle. smash it with 4 clamps. let it sit 15-18 minutes to cool-presto easy peasy

So let me get this straight, you throw out a news article and tell me that I'm in an 8% minority and then say that NRA members also overwhelming support background checks all within the same line of text. Please let it be heard I am an NRA member and don't support universal background checks. All the NRA members that I hang with, shoot with and know, don't support universal background checks. Would you like to know why....because they're are the ones that I hang out with are educated on the subject AND we loan each other our guns on occasion. Last week I made a kydex holster form my O-6 Department Head (hey, I know I'm kissing ass here). "Do you have the contact information for the owner." "Yes officer it is......" Car theft, it's enforceable. Option three You piss me off. I punch you in the nose with witnesses. You call 911 You tell officer I punched you in the nose Witnesses agree Assault, it's enforceable WITHOUT REGISTRATION THIS IS PIE IN THE SKY. Ask Canada, UK, Australia how that registration worked out for them... Any non-CO residents want to voice their opinion, the Gov's Facebook thingy (whatever that is) would be a good place to post civil disagreement.

As a CO resident now, I appreciate Brick's stance. As a CO resident I will stay and put in the good fight and ask all those in Colofornia to stay too but if you don't live here, don't spend your hard money in a state that is against freedom. Will this hurt our economy if you don't come here. Probably not. If you are thinking about a vacation to CO and are Pro 2A and decide against, sure write our local reps and let them know this but those that voted for this crap won't care. For instance I have been emailing all the CO reps against this junk legislation almost daily. I received a response for someone in favor of the legislation that stated, and I'm going to paraphrase here, 'you are not in my district so I don't have to respond to you but since you asked I will vote for the legislation.' My rep never responded. Will the FUDS who want to come here to hunt once a year with their bolt action hunting rifles still come. Sure they will. Not much I can do about it. But this will hurt 3 Gun in our state. The Noveske 3G will happen this April in CO but after that, it won't happen any more (I talked with the Match Director about this very thing). This is a National level match with people from all around coming in. Nobody wants to shoot 10 round ARs in a competition. Magpul should leave and take their money with them. The "Ops Amendment" as some CO ®s called is a perfect example of the (D)s lack of intestinal fortitude. They want Magpul's money, just make sure they ship those 30 rounders to other states. My wife used to carry it. We still keep it around for when we take the dog for a walk and we just stuff it in the jacket pocket but the trigger pull was harsh and the recoil wasn't very enjoyable. If it isn't fun to shoot, you won't practice. She upgraded to a Kahr CM9 which for a bigger round had less recoil. 10% of the time she belt carries but the rest of the time she purse carries so size doesn't matter...STS.
