BANDIT_K Posted August 25, 2023 Share Posted August 25, 2023 I tried to do some digging to find out if this was possible as well. Everything I gathered led me to believe it's almost impossible. It all comes down to funding. Since AD foot the bill for you to go to UPT, AD gets those 10 years out of you once you are winged. In the unicorn scenario where it could happen not only would you have to rush and interview (and get hired) at a unit while simultaneously surviving UPT, that unit would have to love you enough to have some of their guard/reserve brass battle the AD brass over the funding issue previously mentioned.
