October 11, 20187 yr If I'm on the promotion list as an ANG officer, then prior to pinning-on, transfer to an AFRES billet (i.e. quit the guard and affiliate as a SELRES or PIRR), does AFRC promote me on my effective date (i.e. 7 yrs TIG)? March 7, 20196 yr A pilot in my unit did this. The biggest issue for her was fedrec. AFRC didn’t want to recognize the promo because the guard was so slow showing fedrec. Once the fedrec came through, her DOR was set at the date should have put it on with the guard, IIRC. I’ll ask her your exact question.
March 19, 20205 yr Author ARPC said since my promo board as an ANG was held under title 10 authority that the promotion would happen on schedule regardless of component. And they were right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
