Hi all,

I was selected as a pilot in the 18OT01 board and have a tentative 19-03 OTS class placement. I have seen a lot of talk of young lieutenants being put on casual status for a while (sometimes multiple months) before starting UPT. I know everyone's situation is going to be different and there is no way to predict the future, but does anyone have any insight into the average wait for a UPT class after graduating OTS?

I saw this one guy on instagram graduate from ROTC May 2017 and had his first solo (IFT not UPT) this month. Almost exactly a year apart. I'm wondering the same thing.
