My fiance and I are having a big wedding on June 15, 2013. We have been planning since last summer when he proposed. Today, we found that his EAD is May 28, 2013. I'm not sure what to do or what all it means. He got Laughlin so it's not too far away, we are from Oklahoma. Does he go to IFS right after his EAD or is there downtime? Do we need to get married before he EADs? I would really appreciate any advice or knowledge. Thanks!

If you do a JOP to make it legal, (then save the date fir the big ceremony) you'll get dependent status & benefits, he'll get more $$.

Also, he won't have to live in the dorms at Laughlin, which is reason enough.

As far as IFS, impress upon him that he needs to tell his Flight Commander immediately about the wedding date, so s/he can work around it.
