Thanks The waiver guide is online at: USAF waiver guide 2007 See page 166. This is the 2007 version, but the aeromedical recommendations appear to be the same as the newer (2009) version, which I didn't easily find online. In a nutshell, FCI will not be waivered for any DM. FCII or FCIII are waiverable only if they can be controlled without medications.
October 20, 201015 yr Over a long period of time, I have begun to get many of the symptoms of the onset of Type II diabetes. If you are not dependent on insulin, will I be medically retired? I don't know a thing about it. Has anyone had any experience with it?
