Bratislava, Slovakia -Danube Hotel is an excellent stay directly on the Danube River. Most rooms have a wonderful view of the river or the old castle. Everything you need to see in Bratislava is within walking distance of the hotel. Bratislava may well be one of the best secrets of the former East. Beer, wine, food and lap dances are incredibly cheap and all done with a gourmet touch. Fifteen to 20 minutes from the airport and an excellent breakfast is included. The "Danube" hotel gets an excellent rating.
