This same exact situation just happened to me at WP. I’m in the same shoes as you. Got picked by a C17 reserve unit and am worried this will end it all. The flight doc said he would submit a waiver request but the optometrist was not so hopeful. What was the outcome of your situation? Did you get a waiver? Did you get a second opinion from a private optometrist? Thanks!
