Follow on to this question. I’m an alternate (I know, I know… pretty unlikely I’ll get a slot for this year this way) main concern tho is that I’m on leave and don’t have access to email for the next 10 days. If I do happen to get picked up as an alternate, would they notify only via email or would they tell my squadron CC who would then call me?

Copy. Do many alternates end up getting selected? I feel like I’ve read quite a lot of people from past years that applied, got alternate, but never got picked up. If there’s 30 alternates, realistically how many will end up going?

DM’d! I’m on TDY on the other side of the world as my CC so probably wouldn’t get a call from him if selected

Yeah I’m seeing “7 days down to about 3 days.” And “notification in the next day or two.” to me that definitely is seeming to say CC notifications will happen either Friday or Monday.

So would that mean 24 Jan for SQ/CC?
