Still trying to find out the order in which RIPs are pushed out... is it VML/DEROS driven, age, alphabetical?? Anyone know because I have no idea. Lol... still updating my CDB 29 times per day just to see nothing in the "Projected Training" area

Stupid question, is the EFMP trick simply clicking the "Apply to Change or Cancel" button and you see the "MiPDS" message? I know a few years back, accessing efmp looked quite different
Affirm! If you don’t have an assignment loaded it will show something along the lines of “MilPDS does not reflect you have an assignment…”If you have an assignment, I think you can click through a few pages and it will show you the base you are going to.

Double tap on this. My IFT was loaded into my CDB for me to see. I went to my CSS and they pulled my record and was able to see my MFS and UPT dates that were hidden. My SURF was clean though. Apparently it updated at midnight and the dates were loaded at 1 am. Also I got my assignment RIP from the CC this morning as well. See you all in Columbus!
Nice! Congrats! Do you have a RNLTD to Columbus? I don’t have a RIP yet… just curious as to what the timelines are looking like.

Yeah I saw that email too. For the life of me I can not remember if I already did MFS there or not though lol. I don't think I did. Pretty sure I went to the local AFB near my home that could do it for CSO. I know I've been to Wright-Patt for the centrifuge so I'm confusing that TDY with MFS in my memory. Where can I check to confirm?
You can call the MFS folks and they will likely ask for your social to see if they have your MFS packet. I think I reached them at 937-938-2647. That’s the number I found on their website.

Was the email only directed towards UPT selects? I personally didn't get the email, but I was selected for UCT. Do UCT selects need to go to Wright-Pat? I hear it's not needed for UCT.
Great question! I’m honestly not sure. If I were to guess, any currently rated O’s with an approved MFS does not have to go. I only say this because I called the MFS folks and they said MFS is generally a one time thing. I could be totally out to lunch, tho.
On another note, since the email was only sent to UPT folks, it seems as though it only applies to us. Idk dood. Sooo much conflicting data lol. If you have already gone to MFS and got an MFS RIP, I’d def give Mr. Caetano a call.

I went through MFS at wright-pat years ago for RPA. I wonder if I'll have to go through it again even though I'm good on my class 1. I do wear contact lenses sometimes so I replied
Not sure about the contact lenses. I went through for RPA in ~2018 and was told I’m good. Hoping the same for you.

Got an email, 22 Feb MFS date
Edit: IFT 2 April
I’d check email. Mr. Caetano just blasted an email out about folks possibly not needing MFS. It starts off asking if you wear contact lenses. Reference below from a sentence pulled from the email:
”if you have had an MFS approved (not the same thing as an IFC1) you are likely to not require another MFS” another line says if you are scheduled for something that you do not believe you need, let them know

Anyone know what the “new process” is that he’s referring to? I’m still holding out hope that CCs will be notified the week of the eighth…
No idea! Most of this was already answered on the MilSuite page, tho. I think he may be referring to the release of the PSDM through MyFSS vs MyVector. That would be my only guess.

Unfortunately my Group didn't push my package this year; I wish I had found out way sooner that the main focus of the board was leadership and adaptability.
I focused HEAVILY on scores (99 PCSM, PPL, high 80s pilot AFOQT) at the expense of just about everything else.
Fortunately my leadership has become aware and is offering me robust opportunities to present those qualities, but that was an extremely bitter learning lesson.
Future pilot applicants: don't be like me and focus on scores at the expense of leadership. It's what cost me a slot in AFROTC and cost me the board now. Coming from a poor background as well, it doesn't cost extra money to develop yourself as a leader as it does to get those flight hours.
If the guard/reserves interests you, I'd highly recommend checking out https://milrecruiter.com/afrc-uft-selectionboards/. My buddy that was not selected last year applied this year to reserves and found out he was picked up weeks later. Their next application is due 31 Dec (five days from today). There is an option to apply unsponsored with your PCSM being above 90. There are a couple other things too (no ETPs and willing to fly any tanker/transport aircraft with the reserves).
Im not too keen on the process, so I don't have all the data, but I have explored the option as a backup plan. A few things I do know is they hold a board in October, January, April, and July, and results are typically pushed out the same month the board convenes.
Good luck, dude! I hope everything works out. Sounds like you've been working your a** off to get a slot!

Just curious, how many ENJJPT volunteers were there this year? I volunteered, but I know it's hard as hell to get selected.

Awesome info. Did they give you any more data about anything?
Negative. Had no idea how many ENJJPT slots there would be either. Not sure where the line was drawn. Out of the ~200 applicants, roughly 50% were selected, tho. Not bad although 100% would be a lot better

That is concerning. Do you happen to know their Wing Strat or Rank?
Also awesome package you are sending up. I would warn slightly against going for ABM in the current time just due to the divestment. Tinker is shrinking right now to PCS out all the ABMs so that they can provide quality training for those that are still there. However, by the time you are selected and go through UABMT/FTU a lot of those problems we are seeing today will be solved.
No idea... he was selected as an alternate, but was never officially in UPT. Thanks! Im hoping it's enough to get a UPT slot. I'd be okay with ABM, it looks like the E-7 may be coming online soon? Not sure. Ground Control is fun too, tho!

Alright dudes and dudettes,
From a credible source... there were ~200 applicants and ~110 selects. Please reference below for approximate numbers:
Pilot Selects - 70
CSO Selects - 20
RPA Selects - 10
ABM Selects - 10
The numbers don't sound great but there is a chance we get selected! Stay prayed up and lets hope this credible source meant ~110 pilot selects instead.

if you don’t get picked up, we’re all screwed lol
You'd be surprised, dude! I have no idea what the board members are looking for. My personal statement/LORec may suck and that may costs me a slot. Who knows lol

Your stats should be perfect for UPT, but I'd be worried they'll give you ABM since you put it on there and they need good ABMs
Thank you! I'd honestly be happy with either, UPT is by far my #1, though. My wife is from the PC area where the ABM schoolhouse is, so I know she'd love to be there for a few months, maybe even years if I "FAIPd" there. We shall see if I am even picked up, though. Just praying the numbers are higher this year.

Hello all,
I am not new to the forum, I’ve just been lurking and posting here and there. I figured I’d post my stats below. I am a UPT (#1) or ABM (#2) hopeful. As weird as it sounds, I was essentially an enlisted ABM and it was dope!
Current MQ-9 IP with ~1200 hours
AFOQT Pilot: 99
PCSM: 96
PPL with 99 civ hours
UFT Wing Strat: #2/3
M.S. in Unmanned Systems (Embry-Riddle online): 3.9 GPA
YG: 2018
Some things I included in my package:
OPR Strats listed on 215
o 2021 (JrCGO): #8/341 (Wing CC)
o 2022 (JrCGO): #1/42 (Sq CC), #2/134 (Group CC), #5/350 (Wing CC)
Awards listed on 215, Personal Statement, and LORec
o Officer Awards:
- 3x Quarterly awards (2x squadron, 1x group)
- 1x Annual Award (squadron)
- 3x Superior Performer awards (2x squadron and 1x joint/coalition exercise)
o Enlisted Awards:
- Commendation Medal as a SrA
- 3x Quarterly awards (group equivalent)
- Commandants Award in ALS
Additional items:
Safety School Grad (2022)
Electromagnetic Course Grad (2022)
I am extremely thankful to be an applicant this year and hope there are more selects than last year. I’ve noticed scores are not everything. My buddy applied last year with a 99 PCSM/98 Pilot and was not selected. Good luck to everyone. We got this!!
