  1. Lol, I am moderated indefinitely by HeloDude, so this will be my last post.

    I posted on this thread specifically to show the ridiculousness of this forum. Anybody with common decency who isn't part of the far right should disagree with MTG's shock tactics and disgusting behavior within the US Congress. The fact that none of the regulars on this forum will concede this point is indicative of the Republican Party's rapid ethical degradation.  The Republican Party has death spiraled into a party that no longer represents true conservatism. The twisted version of conservatism that MTG, Boebert, Gaetz, Trump, and several others represent has nothing to do with traditional values and institutions. Republicans are electing people who rape, cheat, and perform actions in Congress that continue to erode the dignity of the US Government.

    Hunter Biden is not an elected official. He does not represent the Democratic Party in any official capacity, yet he has been the target of Republicans for five years. Even after he took a plea deal, Republicans continue to obsess over him. Republicans then celebrate the public display of his nude photos, and MTG even sent them via e-mail to her constituents. None of you see anything wrong with that? If someone is suspected of crimes (not even charged), then it is now OK to show their nude photos to the entire public within the US Congress and via e-mail? That type of worldview is insane. Republicans hate Hunter Biden so much they are gleeful when humiliating him over and over again. This is what "highly educated and highly trained professional pilots and navigators" like to see in their politics? If this forum is representative of U.S. Air Force rated officers, then I weep for the future of any diverse officers who find themselves under the command of a far right lunatic.

    An assurance of authority is not authority. It's a cop out. He's using technicalities to shirk his duties. I don't think you understand how the legal process works. Do you think a person must be guilty before being charged? There is a compendium of evidence (see the link I posted in the first page of this thread to the complete contents of his laptop) that he committed crimes. MTG presented some of that evidence. It was pretty shocking, but what do you do when you, as a legislative body, pass laws that are not enforced by the judiciary? There is enough probable cause and evidence to indict by any reasonable standard, but it hasn't happened because the process has become political, and two-tiered. You certainly wouldn't be given the same treatment should your laptop be investigated. I have never once used the word guilty. You did. As for the rest... lol.

    I realize there is no nudity for you to get worked up over in the documents that were released today, but if you can read better than you can write, you may find something even more shocking:

    Oh no, he criticized one excerpt of my writing on a conservative, far right forum without ever seeing anything I have written professionally. I don’t treat this forum as a professional venue because it’s not. You are quick to judge without any sort of big picture…kind of like your opinions about Hunter Biden. I’m beyond glad we will never meet. 

    I don’t give a flying about any of your insane far right conspiracy theories about Burisma. Again, you are just parroting the pundits and posting these documents where you scream “OMG, it’s the smoking gun”, when in reality it’s nothing. How many times have I seen such documents amount to absolutely nothing? It has to be at least 100 times. The claims in that document are unverified per the FBI, see below article:

    You know what unverified means, right? To spell it out for you, it means there’s no proof. You can release a million documents that claim all sorts of things, but it means nothing without concrete evidence. It’s very similar to all of the fraudulent election claims the far right made. You know, the claims that didn’t turn up a single shred of evidence even after multiple investigations. Your primary counter argument to this will probably be “BuT wHaT aBoUT TrUmP anD ThE DeMs wHeN hE WAs PrESIDEnt?” I suggest you try something other than whataboutism.

    Republicans are the ones obsessed with Hunter Biden’s dick. How long have you been bringing his dick up? 5 years? Now you are showing the pictures publicly in Congress like a bunch of pathetic losers desperately trying to pin a crime on President Biden by using the mistakes of his troubled son. It’s time to move on and actually start focusing on some form of governance.

Do you normally feign moral outrage and expect people to surrender just because you threw a hissyfit over your hurt feelings? Protip: This debate tactic does not work. Many people here are providing evidence of legal wrongdoing. If you want to participate, you should too.

    You highlighted the applicable parts for me. He was assured he had full authority. What else do you want him to say? There’s nothing that would change your mind at this point about the innocence of Hunter Biden. He is guilty in your mind no matter what I say and you are just spouting the talking points you get from your pundits/podcasts/whatever far right media you ravenously consume like a brainwashed far right lemming. 

    It’s not just my opinion, but that doesn’t matter to you either. You support MTG and her actions. Your grievances that are supposedly based on the rule of the law haven’t even been charged. You are condemning a man who is innocent until proven guilty. That is a fact. 
     

    I never claimed to be a family values guy, but your party sure has over and over. I’m just somebody who thinks showing nudes of the President’s son in Congress in an attempt to humiliate him and “own the Libs” is ing pathetic. If you don’t see that, then we won’t ever see eye to eye and if I ever met you in person I’d probably dislike you for being a brainwashed far right loon since it would probably be your personality.

Their platform was reasonable and the vast majority of them were decent human beings who just happened to disagree with Democrats. Post Tea Party, something happened that turned the core of the Republican Party absolutely rotten. It’s only gotten worse with people like MTG and Boebert saying and doing disgusting things for attention. I guess the party of family values enjoys showing photos of a guy having sex in Congress. One of Jesus’ teachings was “Thou shalt show revenge porn photos of your enemies in a public political forum.”

    So you acknowledge that the photos may be photographic evidence of crimes being committed.  I'll settle for that.

    He wrote that entire section you quoted in the 30 June/1 July letter and then later on in that same later affirmed he had full authority. He then said he had full authority in the 10 July letter. You keep quoting the 1 July letter without referencing the 10 July letter. You are cherry picking your argument just like Rep Jordan was and intentionally being misleading. Weiss will probably have to testify and he will say the same thing again. You are the joke.


    It’s worthless arguing with you because you can’t even concede the point that showing nude photos to the public of an individual within the halls of the US Congress is in poor taste. You are so far down the far right rabbit hole that you support the actions of MTG, who is an actively serving politician and individual of low moral character as opposed to Hunter Biden who is neither a politician or public figure.

    It’s extremely disheartening to see that I serve side by side with people who support MTG and her trashy actions. Hunter Biden is innocent until proven guilty with regard to the Mann Act regardless of whatever conspiracy theories Republicans come up with. It’s a good thing you can’t convict with solely Whistleblower testimony and pictures of having sex. Show the proof beyond a reasonable doubt and I’ll be glad to see him go to jail. However, it will always be trashy, pathetic, and disgusting to publicly show those pictures during a Congressional hearing. There is nothing that will change my mind on that point, and I’d like to think that any decent person would feel the same way.

    LOL, Jim Jordan is straight up misleading here. In the June 30 letter he references Weiss never stated he did not have full authority, and Weiss sticks to those guns in the most recent 10 July letter referenced by the articles above.

    Finally, there was 0 reason to blast those nudes in a public forum for the whole world to see. There are better, less trashy ways to show at the hearing what you claim to be "photographic evidence of crimes being committed." He hasn't been charged with a crime, nor has he been proven guilty of Mann Act violations in a court of law. Until then, those photos may be photographic evidence of crimes being committed, or just Hunter Biden having sex. Everybody is innocent until proven guilty, am I right?

    I'm saying that any Trump-appointed U.S. attorney would be beyond excited to uphold the law, especially regarding Hunter Biden. With all of this supposed evidence, it should have been a slam dunk for Weiss and the charges should have been brought forth, especially since Weiss had full authority to do so.

    I'd be willing to take all of this back if you show me the PROOF of these whistleblower's claims. Something tells me that will not be the case. Until you show me the proof (not just nudes and two whistleblowers gabbing it up), this is just one of a million far right conspiracy theories.

    Lol, because photos of Hunter Biden having sex is evidence of a crime. Show me the direct linkage. Find the alleged prostitute and have her testify. Show me some real evidence that proves "beyond a reasonable doubt" of Hunter Biden's crimes. These photos certainly don't prove "beyond a reasonable doubt." The photos are just a pathetic far right Republican nut job shock tactic that absolutely obliterates the decency of the US Congress.

Why are you far right nut jobs cheering that MTG showed these pictures to Congress? MTG showing these photos is one of the most pathetic things I have ever seen, and further depicts the far right Idiocracy that is the modern Republican Party.

    If you are happy about this or support this action, you are way too far gone down the far right nut job rabbit hole. There's no bringing you back, and nothing you say or do would ever convince me to think of you as a decent person.

    If pictures like this were shown of Trump's children, the crazies on this forum would have an aneurysm and call for the head of the Democrat who showed the pictures. What an absolute embarrassment for Republicans.

    I guess you forgot the first and most significant part of the Preamble to the Constitution. Life may not be fair, but we should always be striving to ensure we achieve "Liberty and Justice for all."  What does Justice mean?

    Justice, in its broadest sense, is the concept that individuals are to be treated in a manner that is equitable and fair.

    This is what people fail to remember when they say "Life isn't fair" or "Fairness is socialism" or "DEI is racism". They forget that the very first objective the Preamble states is to "Establish Justice." Even if you interpret Justice in this context to mean Justice in the eyes of the law, that still requires fairness.

    I cringe at almost everything the modern Republican does these days since its goes directly against the Constitution.

    Diminish and seek to eradicate LGBTQ+ people? That's definitely establishing justice.

    Eliminate programs like DEI and the ultra scary "Critical Race Theory" that seek to highlight institutional discrimination? Lots of justice there.

    Create a state where armed individuals/cops can essentially kill whoever they want (especially minorities) while suffering 0 consequences? Definitely a more perfect Union with a ton of justice.

    Denying the outcome of a free and fair election without a shred of evidence to back-up any of their claims? Dang man, those Republicans really want Justice.

    I could go on and on with examples of Republicans ignoring the Constitution, much like how Fourfans just ignored Prozac's post and keeps asking him "Why, Why, Why", showing an excellent example of the start of the infinite regress fallacy. No matter what Prozac types, Fourfans will just keep asking him "Why" so he can attempt to win the online argument. This is a very common tactic that weak debaters use to defend their weak positions. Definitely not surprised to see it on this forum.
