The PSDM stated that too.
Or not medically qualified or aged out.

Anybody know how many UPT selects there were total? I'm curious if the projected 40 to 70 slots is accurate from previous comments. It'll help me sleep at night knowing I'm an alternate when they had around 100 slots the last couple years. So close...
69 UPT selects

Hopefully they’ll go to your base and pick you up in a T-6 😂 I bet the CC will get an email or a call and notify us
LMAO...They, AFPC, told me, "We will be reaching out via email if any slots open up. We should have all declinations by end of Jan and will be working backfills during Feb. If we get to you, you should hear from us by the end of Feb."

Thanks, but I found out I got alternate. Still confused why I wasn't selected but I'll just reapply next year. Congrats on getting selected!
Follow up question for the group: anybody have any data on alternate selections? Like how many traditionally get picked up ultimately?
I found out today that 20 of the 26 alternates are UPT. They wouldn't tell me rack and stack or how many of the 6 left are CSO, ABM, or URT. They said they will have all declinations by end of January and will work on filling slots through February and if picked up from the alternate list I will know by end of February.

How do you know if you are an alternate? If you are selected for RPA would you be an alternate for UPT or is there a specific alternate list for UPT?
There is an alternate list with 26 people on it. It is not broken down however. I reached out to AFPC this morning to see if they could tell me who is an alternate for what and how we rack and stack but I'm not holding my breath.

One did and one did not. The one that did is a 14F/Information Operations Officer like me. As for the one that didn't, he is either intel or engineering. I'd have to ask which but they all blend together at NASIC
Thanks. There is a 1LT 14N from NASIC that is on the alternate list. Im assuming that is him.

Woof. If I didn't get alternate that's even more depressing because I've got a 99 pilot, 87 PCSM, and 25 civilian hours.
I only applied for RPA due to age, only thing I qualified for.

I cannot speak about the training, that does sound fairly unpredictable. As for the RPA only package, I know two others besides yourself that did the same just due to medical/age, and what not
Did the two people you know get picked up for RPA? If so what's their current AFSC?

Yeah I'm positive, hopefully with me turning down RPA you'll get bumped up into a slot.
Thanks. Good luck on your future efforts.

RPA select 94 Pilot/85 PCSM/no PPL/ 3000 mil hours
I required both an age waiver and TFCSD waiver so not really surprised with the RPA. I don't think I'll be accepting and I will focus my efforts on applying to certain Guard units.
Are you for sure not accepting it? I only ask because I am an RPA alternate, not sure how many RPA alternates there are or where I fall in that list but you never know.

What were your stats? My sq/cc didn't see the alternate list so idk if I made that
83 Pilot/66 PCSM/12 Civilian hours

Well, I was just informed that I am an alternate. I only applied for RPA so I don't see anyone being medically disqualified or turning it down so good luck to everyone else.

my wing exec doesn't know where to looks. any help?
They only told me they reached out to MPF.

My Wg/CC had to contact the MPF but I still haven't been informed because my Gp/CC is in a meeting with the Wg/CC. The exec did tell me they have the results though. Just makes the wait worse.

I sent our exec the picture of it saying it is released to commanders and she said they will check it first thing in the morning. We will see. I will inform the group wither way. I only applied for RPA though so not sure how much that will help anyone. Good luck everyone!

I've been refreshing the forum and the rated assignment portal all day at work. I'm going crazy! I think it'll be tomorrow, they dropped it on Jan 11th last year.
Same. I am driving myself crazy. Now I am thinking something is happening because it will not load right!😅

Does anyone know the process for URT? I know it includes IFT but after that it seems to be a free for all. I've been told it is a PCS to the ultimate duty station and then TDY for training. I've been told it is a TDY from current duty station for training and then PCS to ultimate duty station after training. Lastly I have been told it is a PCS to Randolph, TDY to IFT and then TDY enroute to ultimate duty station.
How many of you put RPA as an option on the packet? I only selected RPA, trying to figure out chances of being in the 10 selected.

I know there were a few selects on here who stated they were turning down ABM, CSO, and RPA. Curious as to if anyone has been contacted as an alternate yet.
