It’s a lot of everything. The person that got a UPT slot with a 34 PCSM was DG from commissioning source, DG at tech school and rated #1 Lt at the wing. So scores aren’t end all be all

By chance, Is anyone now looking at the guard path to UPT? Heavily considering it, with how difficult it seems to get picked up.

Yes. But it’s probably just as difficult tbh. I’m willing to put in the work tho. Everyone’s telling me to go guard instead

Non-select (applied to all): 87 Pilot, 86 PCSM, 12 hours and did the rated prep program.
Had a F15 O-6 Wing/CC LoR, a Dec, and got my masters this year.
I feel that PPL is the only thing missing and maybe rank? Only 4 Lts got picked up. Just an observation.
stoked for those who got picked up. Best of luck!

Also if anyone is able to get a screenshot of the results, could they post it? Not sure if that would be allowed, but it WILL be publically released soon. Only asking because alot of us still don't have access to the PDSM
I think that's pushing the line since its CUI and this is a public site. but honestly bro, DM me and ill look you up

This does not instill confidence, but I appreciate you sharing so we can all temper our expectations and not be surprised when it seems like we get an unexpected result. There seems to be nothing predictable to how they are selecting. Not that there isn't a system, but it certainly does not seem that methodical
yeah i still haven't heard anything. But the only thing i can think of in this situation is whole airman? So sorry man, best of luck if you decline and reapply

My Wg/CC had to contact the MPF but I still haven't been informed because my Gp/CC is in a meeting with the Wg/CC. The exec did tell me they have the results though. Just makes the wait worse.
my wing exec doesn't know where to look. any help?

Not to mention when it is time to pass results, they don't even tell you via email or mail or anything direct. They notify your CoC, when your commander eventually tells you.
I mean, it makes sense the commander should know if he's losing a guy but still...
What will be worse is when one of you guys find out and everyone else is still in the dark…..

Ayoooo those numbers are way better than we had expected!!
Did y'alls insider say the total number of applications that they received?
I was given roughly 230. I think last year was a little less than that, like 200?

Unfortunately no. They same source who told me there were 40 slots told me the board was able to find more. But everything is speculation until we get official word.
Welcome to the forum. I was a long time lurker before I became a member to post.man looks like a few others also heard this rumor. Which sucks, because we were being told to expect the same amount as last year (which was 100). So best of luck to everyone....now we wait.

Heard that the board was able to find more slots than originally forecasted but that’s it. No exact numbers.
man "able to find more slots" i really hope that was based off the projected 100 and not this 40 number that's getting tossed around. Are you able to elaborate any more?
And I didn't know this forum existed, i found it via reddit under the 2021 UFT board thread.
