  1. Hello,

wondering if anyone here knows much about the new Rated Demonstration program bonus for this FY?

I'm currently a former CSO  going through UPT with a ADSC til FY25. At first glance at this PSDM it looked like I wouldn't be eligible but looking at it further I can't find anywhere it flat out says I'm ineligible. Specifically under the ETP section where it mentions "aviators who are currently in UFT who have not incurred the UFT ADSC" may request an ETP. Not sure who else that sentence would apply for other than cross-training folks.

I know its a long shot but I'm not gunna not ask, seeing as how they've got my ass for the full twenty either way...

    Thanks!

Were those lower strat folks, that you know, selected because of some all important factors that you could do nothing about ie, race, sex, and or sexual preference?  You know the really critical things to consider when selecting pilots??

Damn thats crazy, I don't remember the "sexual preference" section of the application... I must've glossed over that

So I sat down with my Gp/CC today to get feedback about what he thinks happened (why Iower stratted guys from the wing got picked up with objectively worse packages).

Best guess is it was more subjective based on letter of rec and personal letter. The other 2 have stronger bullets by virtue of simply doing the job longer. We are all the same AFSC, but I've been operational only a year, they've been operational 2-3 years. He didn't sugarcoat it, he says mine was "more fluff"  because I just didn't have as many things I could say yet.

I'm glad I got feedback from him. He doesn't know what AFPC specifically looked at but that's his best guess because all of my scores and numbers on the AF215 were better than theirs. It's encouraging that all I have to do is continue doing my job well for the next year and accumulate stronger bullets.

If anybody is confused, I recommend getting feedback!

Edit: he also said he would look into the alternate process and would get back to me with any info. I'll pass that along on here when he does!

That's great feedback, hoping you get picked up for alternate.

PPL also seemed like a huge plus for this year

  4. Latest update from the portal: "Staffing on the PSDM is complete and it is currently with our Directorate Chief for final approval. As soon as I get the final approval, I will get it sent out to commanders/MPFs via myPers Secure. No exact date/time other than ASAP once approved. I'll post a note here on the portal once it goes out."

You're a true American hero, thank ya brotha!!

I wonder if the timeline is similar to last year's or if they're a bit further along this year. Last year, the list went out to MPF and senior raters on the second Tuesday of Jan, the 11th. Maybe we'll get an early holiday or New Years present?? 🙌🙌

I know from previous boards they are usually pretty good about answering questions about results on the UFT page on the portal.

Is this the first year where superscoring and the flight hour caps are implemented into the PCSM? I read somewhere that PCSM/AFOQT scores were going to be higher on average because of the change.

I wonder what the avg scores will be this year if anybody could share any insight or their scores. Looking to apply for the next board (have my PPL). Thanks!

    AFOQT/PCSM/PPL/STRAT

I’m 90 Afoqt 86 pcsm. My score went up significantly with the new update. We’ll definitely see some higher average scores this board!
