Do you know who submits for dates once approval letters are sent out? Is it an internal NGB process or does base training need to submit a formal request?
NGB A1 typically sends a courtesy copy of the approval to A3 as a heads up, but your unit and/or local training shop needs to submit the request to A3

Anybody here know if the NGB is taking > or < 60 days for for recent approvals to appoint? hoping to hit OTS this summer/fall. Update on the now 2 year old timeline:
- AFOQT test: March 2020
- TBAS test: May 2020
- Interview & Selected as Alternate: Aug 2020
- AFOQT retake: March 2021
- TBAS retake: April 2021
- Interview & hired: July 2021
- Submitted request to FC1: Oct 2021
- Received FC1 Date: Nov 2021
- FC1: 18 Jan 2022
- FC1 stamped: 1 Feb 2022
- Enlistment: 5 Feb 2022
- NGB Submission: 16 March 2022
Based on the last few packages I’m aware of (including mine), I’d estimate between 60-90 days. Mine took right around 2 months.
