2021 Active Duty Flying Training Board
It'll be interesting to see if the Covid response and restrictions affect the selection board date at all. Most deployments have been extended already, but as of now mine hasn't. Gotta take the PPL tests when I get back. I imagine it's affecting a lot of people's ability to complete the different parts of the application process.

Neither my Group exec or wing exec have heard anything. And yes, I'm medical @ Travis AFB. Gotta keep it creative with the usernames.hah

Who are you guys going to for results? The Sq/Gp/Wing CC? I'm deployed and before I send my flight commander at home station asking, it'd be nice to give him the correct answer.hah

2020 Air Force Active Duty UPT Board
If all those that applied last year and turned down cso/abm reapplied, it makes sense there are a lot more slots for them this year. I imagine many of those improved their PCSM score. I want pilot, but my scores aren’t in the 90s, so I’m keeping my expectations to a minimum. I’m at Travis AFB and only 2 from my base applied to this board, kinda surprised to see so many this year.

I emailed AFPC and was told there are 200 slots total, half going to pilot/rpa, and the other half going to cso/abm. There are just under 300 applicants for this board. No idea the ratio of the 100 slots between pilot/rpa. Sounds like the previous thread comments are correct, pilot slots are down.

2020 Air Force Active Duty UPT Board
Hi everyone, I'm an 46N3E who applied to the UPT board. I met with my Chief nurse today after she told me she got a call from AFPC regarding my application. She told me she'd be calling AFPC back; she knows the assignment officer well and would see if she could find out anymore information. Let's just hope they release me from my already critically-manned field. Anyways, it seems the wheels of this board are already turning! Good luck to us all!
