So they sending you straight to RIQ? Do you know if they are applying a blanket waiver for IFT for folks affected by COVID, or are they changing the pipeline for good?
-
Originalturk: Did you get "new" date or did they just cancel your training RIP without reslotting you?
-
Anybody having their IFT dates moved around? I heard that 19 AF put out guidance that manned IFT slots take priority over RPA/CSO. Curious if any other URT folks have had their dates moved/canceled...
-
Any guesses on what the status might be for those with IFT dates AFTER the TDY ban? Is everyone going to get moved back? Or do they reslot the folks whose dates directly conflict with the 60 Days order?

Got my RIPs today.
16 Jun RFT. MFS 15 Jan.
-
Where are yall getting your rips from? AFPC sending emails? Or through your UTM/ formal training folks?

I got picked up for URT last year. Got my initial RIP for IFT in February with class dates of October, then in July got a new RIP that moved my IFT date up to August. I just finished IFT about a month ago. Currently waiting for RIQ which starts in January for me. I got the RIP for RIQ in August I believe.
The major holdup is RIQ. It’s to the point that they have more casuals than they can handle and new OTS/academy grads in 18X are getting PCSd straight to a duty station and already assigned an airframe. I was one of the very few in Pueblo that didn’t already know which RPA I’ll be flying.
Thanks for the information that's really helpful.
I got an MFS date of 15 Jan. Hopefully that means I'll be getting an IFT RIP shortly after that.
Huh, I thought airframe preference was dependent on class ranking during RIQ? Are they being assigned at random to the OTS/ROTC folks? I kind of have my heart set on Reapers... are they giving people any input on what they get?

Any URT bros from the last board have any insight on pipeline?
I emailed the 18x pipeline manager a few days ago and they told me they have "no idea" what the timeline would look like for a 2020 select, and to ask back again after the new year.
-
Congrats to all the selects.
Looking forward to seeing the URT folks in the pipeline.

Not gonna post the list... definitely not the move.
Good luck everyone!

Got a peek at the list... 62 pilots, 50 CSO, 35 RPA, 28 ABM

Whelp. I just lost a year of my life...
My non select news was a prank by my leadership chain bc I have been so nosey about the results. Most relieved I have ever been.
URT select.
PCSM - 58 (6 hrs)
AFOQT - p 90 c 94 aa 99 v 99 q 92
GPA: 3.25
Age: 33 (34 by jan1 so I needed a waiver for upt)
-
Not selected. Bummer.
-
I wonder if the slot breakout influenced them letting folks decline with no penalty this year...with the uptick in CSO/ABM they could have seen alot of folks who wanted UPT decline and be taken out of next years pool.

Portal still says notifications go out tomorrow (Thursday). I am hopeful we will start hearing things by COB on Thursday. But Friday might be more realistic...
-
Pretty quiet on this board with 24 hours to go... anyone able to get any early notifications out there? I guess AFPC has that list locked down pretty tight this go around...
-
The way my prsnl buddy explained it to me is that it would be the FSS at wherever your senior rater is based. They will likely send the list to your wing exec orgbox... However, anyone with AFPC secure access can get the list. I'm in the same boat, my wing is at Moody so I will be pinging the Moody FSS.

I'd say it's almost certainly "first thing in the morning" central time. Im going to give our FSS over here on the east coast about until 1100 EST before I ping them. I was only app from my Wing, so I'm afraid if I don't poke the FSS they might sit on the list over the long weekend.

My css pulled the loss roster this morning and I'm still not on it.
Anyone have any luck with finding out this way?
-
My ETP got approved too. The response to the ETPs said "mid -November" ... so that's a good sign it might actually be on time.
With the board wrapping up its crazy to think that we re all either selected or not at this point. Gonna be a long October.

Anyone have any ideas about number of slots besides UPT? (URT/UABMT/UCT)
RPA Training Courses

What was your class date? I'm in 16Jun RFT and can only assume they just haven't gotten around to formally canceling me yet.
