I have a college degree and have completed the TBAS, AFOQT, etc. I have no prior Air Force experience other than a year of Air Force ROTC. I have essentially completed everything needed to join except for MEPS. I have a private pilots license, instrument rating, commercial pilots license, and my multi-engine add-on, all with 250 hours of flight time and I do have a private sector company expressing an interest in me. With research I understand it the process is OTS, IFT, Sere training, UFT, then UPT. My questions are:
1) With my flight credentials, would I have to attend IFT considering it looks like flight school all over again?
2) Would I have to attend UFT?
3) I have been reading posts on this sites with a number of Reserve members expressing trouble finding a sponsor, what happens if a candidate cannot find a sponsor?
4) What are the advantages of joining the Air Force Reserve?
5) What are the disadvantages of joining the Air Force Reserve?

There's also a distinction between not bad and good. It sounds like you're a great candidate but your presentation is lacking and only in the "not bad" column. Have you considered BogiDope's resume prep? They're pretty good at showing you how to really sell yourself

I got an invite via phone call on Monday. They said they'd be sending out emails next week so I'd assume you'll have a solid answer soonHas anyone heard from the 119th in NJ?

I haven't been able to see anything or log in on mobile since last week. I tried to update the app but it seems to be gone from the Google play store. It has stopped working for me for a couple days before but never this long. There's a solid chance I'm missing something but I'd like to see it working again.

Last month they said invites would be sent out mid January so it should be any day now.Might be a premature question here, but has anyone heard from the 303rd MO for interviews/updates?
