  1. It may would help if you joined a unit and kept applying to show how serious you are. That decision isn’t for everyone but it works for some people. When did you apply for the Jackson,MS board?

  2. I recommend going for it. I was in a similar situation. I was a 10 year TSgt when I applied to my home base. I did not have a PPL and also had a terrible PCSM. I thought there was slim chance that I would be selected or make it. I’m currently flying the T6 now in UPT. You will miss 100% of the opportunities that you do not pursue. Give it everything you have and the rest will work itself out. 

  3. Awesome. Thanks for the response. I've been worried about losing fitness during that time but if I can get in a few workouts by myself then I should be fine. Congrats on getting your commission and good luck at pilot training. 

  4. Does anyone have any recent feedback on the fitness regimen in TFOT? I am not asking because I am worried about meeting the minimum. How often and long are the run sessions specifically? Also, any idea on the fitness schedule in UPT? Is it a mandatory 1hr per day? Thanks.
