Yeah. Currently a nav. I heard through the rumor mill that NGB was getting a lot of flak from units who were waiting over a year with guys chambered to go but we’re waiting on waivers.

I guarantee they don’t care. NGB A1 and A3 wouldn’t know there was a shortage based on the speed the process paperwork. Some of these folks are very good at their jobs. Some are overworked and undermanned. But some don’t give a FU(K how long your age waiver takes.

I actually can't really complain because AMD will soon be leaving the CAOC and setting up in a new CONUS facility.  So this rotation is finally the much desired end of AMD at Al Udeid!

It’s a shame that won’t stop them from being terrible. Nothing better than a C17 pilot trying to load 7 pallets on a c130H. ;)

Were you the Nav in my IFS class that turned to his instructor to tell her he wasn't feeling well?  The first words out of his mouth were a half gallon of vomit.  I felt so bad for that lady.

I didn't have any female instructors at Doss. But that's pretty funny. :)

Got this question in my email and couldn't answer it:

Does anyone know what group the AFOQT scores are "percentiled" against?

Is it that current crop of test takers (ex: all test takers in Fall 2016)? All takers who have ever taken that same test form? Some other subset?

I know the old Form S scores were re-centered on fall 2014 scores. I am wondering about the scores for new test takers.

    Thanks.

redoing the scores fuked my old scores of high 70s into mid 60s. I'm pretty pissed i have to retake the AFOQT as a Captain eligible for Major this year.

Congrats! I was happy to leave that place too. The DA-20 was a fun little airplane but I wouldn't want to go through that again.

You're probably done with or close to being done with SERE. I really enjoyed SERE (except for the RT labs haha) I had a really good time out in the field and it helps that my element & instructors were awesome. Good luck in UCT!

I went through the Nav portion back in 2009. Im probably going to have to go back through again when/if i go to UPT. I'm not looking forward to it.
