The 192D Airlift Squadron, located at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport is currently hiring Rated C-130 Pilots and Navigators. The ideal applicant is willing to relocate or regularly commute to the local area and actively participate in the flying operations of the unit. Bonuses are offered in many situations for Navigators.The High Rollers of the 192D fly the C-130 Hercules, the premier Tactical Airlifter of the United States Air Force. We train locally in one of the most challenging tactical environments in the world, flying in the low level environment in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the surrounding Reno/Tahoe area.Reno is a passionate and vibrant town. Lake Tahoe and the Sierra offer 300+ days of sun every year along with four seasons of outdoor activity. Lake Tahoe boasts world class skiing including Squaw Valley USA in the winter. In the summer months, the area surrounding Reno offers mountain biking, golfing and all types of hunting. San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma and the Bay Area are a 3 hour drive away. The ideal applicant is willing to relocate or regularly commute to the local area and actively participate in the flying operations of the unit.The High Rollers of the 192D fly the C-130 Hercules, the premier Tactical Airlifter of the United States Air Force. The C-130 is capable of operating from unprepared and dirt landing strips and is the prime transport for airdropping troops and equipment into hostile areas. We train locally in one of the most challenging tactical environments in the world, flying in the low level environment in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the surrounding Reno/Tahoe area.Reno is the gateway to the Sierras, offering four seasons of outdoor activity. The city lies in the heart of Northern Nevada and Northern California, less than an hour away from Lake Tahoe, 18+ ski resorts, thousands of mountain biking and hiking trails, and countless lakes perfect for fishing and boating.
