Yea they finished last year around this time. To my memory the 38 bubbas have only used it occassionally. Last weekend I heard they opened Vance up fully to support a full day of flying.
Out of curiosity, how is DLF washing people forward? Weren't they several weeks behind recently due to MX issues and other stuff? Not throwing spears, just curious.
Well MX has gotten a lot better + incredible weather = timeline success

Well it's only a short term test...
With that said the off station RON was taken out of the syllabus years ago. The X/C was a timeline savior for T-6s as you can gain on the timeline for each student.
This is also just a step to get rid of weekend flying all together.
As for the wash forwards, not sure how it actually helps anything other than making sure phase three doesn't get bogged down if wash backs occur (making the phase three class larger). The most recent was three wash forwards (2x T38/1x T1).

(assumption based on previous posts: I think you are at DLF) If so you need to tell your UDM to do his job. It's been a problem and something that has been addressed. If you are not getting need from him let his boss now.

On the T-6 side we're seeing 14-15 per flight (28-30 per class) and are being told that that number is going to keep going up.
Where is this at? I know the largest producing base in 2016 (DLF) is currently at 12-13 per flight.

A problem you may run into is your fam being on your TDY orders. They were only on my pcs orders so that could stay at my previous location or move to my new one. I was not entitled to a TLF based on that info according to AFPC and finance.

Why the F' don't they just add TSP matching to any AFSC 11X or 12X or Aviation bonus payment used for TSP....the services are allowed to match....
It'd be a small upfront payment from Mother Blue for a possibly big benefit for aviators later when we're old and deaf from flying her planes.
That's valid. I would love to get matching contributions. Would pay dividends on the far end.

Only if it wasn't related to a commitment. I would be more willing to stick around it the pay was built more in line with the medical bonuses of not signing a commitment (at least from my understanding).
Shoot just bumping flight pay up to $1k max per the new NDAA would help some.

Are you saying you need more than 16gb? I would have to check but I don't think I use close to that on mine.

Because you were in a flying assignment the time limit for a local requal is 51 months I believe.

I might have missed this but can anyone explain why it takes WG/CC approval to wear a Friday shirt in FDUs but on SQ/CC for ABU?
